100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Oh wow, winterberry is a really pretty color. I'm sad that Bite discontinued their high pigment pencils. I really liked a lot of the colors in the line.

Anyway, I was feeling a little kooky with my outfit, so I went low-key on my lipstick. This is a peachy tan nude that doesn't totally wash me out.

Just curious, I have ColourPop Lippie Stix too and have issues with the product sliding all around my face. It never stays where I put it. Do you have this problem as well and/or did you find a fix? 🙂 @snoflakefaerie

I haven't tried a lip primer yet, but I have definitely been considering it! Glad to know they actually do help. I'll have to get one for sure now! 😊 @snoflakefaerie

@SchylarR I don’t recall having issues with the lipping stix doing that for me, but to be honest, I don’t wear them often. I will pay attention to it during this challenge. Have you tried using a lip primer? I find those usually help to keep them from bleeding or moving off your lips.

Your skin tone holds up that red magenta pigment because your strongly cool undertoned.  Warmer, honey, and fair-pink-toned complexions may not pull it off as well. You look porcelain or fair. One of the best colors for porcelain or fair is bright or deep pink. The red is a magenta red. Together they make a deep pink.

Go head turner one night and show off your bright complexion by going a bluer based red. Your lips become a statement piece. Maybe  NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment Starwoman - like:

This sorta blue red is what I imagine

You wear it well as you're wearing it. The suggestion is for fun!

Missed posting yesterday because I staying in bed as long as possible before going to work, but I snapped a picture in the car.

Pardon the zit on my chin. I like the idea of this color a lot, but it definitely settles in to lip lines. It also looks way more neon/white based IRL than it shows in this picture.
