Lilac Nymph just might be my new favourite...! And So Vain is going to be perfect for fall. These are such great new colours.

I was in the car when I saw your lip swatches. I was soo excited and zoomed in so that your lips were life sized and held my phone up to my face to see how it would look on me. BF was driving and looked over and asked what the heck I was doing! So I turned towards him with the pic of your lips infront of my lips and asked if he liked the colour...lol he just shook his head, laughed and said that he's happy I found a bunch of other crazy TF fans to chat with about make up online.

I was mildly embarrassed that your lip swatches got me that excited that I didn't want to wait until I got home to do that privately lol. 

I have to admit that I do that with GC's lips too. 

I can't be the only one that does this....lol

I don't think Lilac Nymph swatches as well on a hand as it does on the lips 🙂 I didn't really fall in love with it until I put it on. 

I was afraid So Vain would be too dark, but I really like it! It'll be great for fall, since it's so plummy. Kind of reminds me of chocolate!

Just out of curiosity, does anyone from Canada or specifically Toronto know where to find Tom Ford cosmetic items ?. I'm thinking that maybe Holt Renfrew could be wrong ?. Thanks !

You can find full TF line at Holts Bloor St and Holts Yorkdale. Nordstrom Vancouver will be opening in a month, they will carry full TF line as well + free shipping everywhere in Canada.

Holts has such bizarrely inconsistent rules around shipping.

I ended up purchasing 2 Moodlights from separate counters (I preordered at 2 JIC) and one counter shipped via CP and charged me $15 and the other shipped via UPS and didn't charge me at all...

Either way, I look forward to trying out the service at Nordstrom.

My SA from Bloor doesn't charge me for shipping. Did bloor charge you?

I know they are supposed to since the launch of the new icon privilege program in the summer ( where you only get free shipping if you buy thousands from Holt's ) but she's really sweet and never charges ( which is even more important since Holt's closed in Ottawa.)

Bloor St never charges for shipping 🙂 It looks like a Yorkdale-only charge.

Ahh, that makes sense, Kate! I was wondering why being charged shipping was so expensive and so normal. But I do recall hearing that the upper tiers of Icon include free shipping. I do wish there was some sort of a minimum to get free shipping though!

No, your SA was lovely!  I got charged on the one I ordered from the Yorkdale store.  

I didn't realize they closed the Holts in Ottawa - that's a bummer 😞

I think each store/counter has their own policy. I was shopping at Holts Vancouver and all SAs had no problem with returning and they were surprised to hear I can't return any new items to the store in Toronto. Bloor St never charges me for shipping, but Yorkdale charges shipping no matter how much I buy. My friend who lives in scarborough also said her stuff was always delivered by someone random (not any carrier).

Dang it Yorkdale. I haven't had anything shipped from Bloor St, only from Yorkdal eso I always get the $15 charge. Annoying. They always get my name wrong, too /endrant

Basically, Carmen - what ivy said! And Mocha. Holt for now, but hopefully Nordstrom will be a better option soon. If you're able to pick up in store, it shouldn't make much of a difference although I haven't had the best luck with Holt SAs in Toronto.
