Received this info today from a NM SA: The Lips and Boys collection will launch at Neiman Marcus online on 11/28/15. It will include 25 colors from last year that will be permanent and 25 brand new Limited Edition shades. There will be a 2-piece, 10-piece and 50-piece set available for purchase.

Edit to Add: Nordstrom across Canada don't have this in Stock, Holts online has it if anyone wants to grab this one.

I kind of think this is good news because maybe they're coming out with more exciting quads. I'm interested to see what is released.

I'm totally stumped on my lips and boys list. So far I want ansel, drake, jake...

Opinions greatly appreciated on what else I should get.

I tried Jake on and it was a little light on me.  Kingston is shockingly pretty and I could see it on you.  Drake is also stunning.  What basic colors are you favoring (pink, coral, browns?).  I found that there were more cool tones in this bunch...so I had to be careful.  You're warmer toned too, right?  More on that neutral slightly warm side...?

I have a bit of a situation.

I am loyal to my SA from Holt's. However, the Night Sky eyeshadow duo that I got this week contained less product than the other ones I got this summer. 

I took pictures and sent it to her and she said she will ask her manager what can be done. I haven't heard back so I just sent her pictures of how much they weighed. 

The night sky is 2 ml less than other duos...this means that it contains 30% less product since there is only 7ml of cream shadow. 

Because I live in another city from Holt's, I hope they will send me a new one and pay for the shipping of the other one back to them. If they don't do something, I'm not going to be happy. 

For Holt's sake, I hope they will resolve this in a way that I will be happy. If not, I'm going to pre-order the 25 boys from Nordstrom's and all of the rest of my future purchases. I would hate to break up with a good SA.

Kate I totally understand and I hope you get it sorted! I went back to my Holts SA only after she made the last mistake right. I would prefer to deal with only person and I was planning on switching to Nordstrom here but after being told I had to attend an event to be able to buy (I know that has changed since) I have no time for that.

Do you think Holt or Nordstrom has more turnover? Maybe that will help your decision. I had an sa who left but she forwarded me to her replacement who turns out to be good so far. More turnover = having to prove yourself as a good customer over and over again.

I try to stay away from Holts because the last two preorders did not go too well. ( They soId my preorder to someone else). I live 20 minutes from Bloor St location, but I'm still ordering all my TF from Nordstrom Vancouver. 

It sounds like a defective product and they should be able to replace it. My friend once bought a golden mink quad from them, she came home and realized the applicators were missing. The SA also sold her a lipstick that she did not want. My friend went back to the store and got a refund with no problem at all.

Kate, I'm very loyal  In fact, I think you should order from my SA.  But, you have a valid issue and are a loyal, great and longstanding customer.

I'll bet they fix it, especially if you stand firm.

One note, I'm not sure Nordstrom is getting as many L&B as some others....so check that before you commit.
