@veronika23  I’m curious about the Chromalux creams, but OMG BLACK-CASED LIP FETISH BALMS, and one of them is black and/or iridescent? Gonna probably need that in my life. 🖤

@veronika23  Hmm, I don’t see those black Lip Fetish balms today on the PMG Holiday preview page or the Lip Fetish product page. I haven’t checked Instagram at all today. But I hope they’re real and will appear soon!

I’m still confused by the shade Noir’s “opaque ebony” description compared to the product swatch photos. Noir looks even more sheer than most other sheer black balms I’ve seen/worn. I’d hoped for a more pigmented black balm. Astral Blue Star’s description seems accurate, though. Based on the product page, Astral Blue Star is the one I’ll buy.

@WinglessOne  Noir is definitely very sheer but very wearable as a simple balm topped with gloss. I think I will have to cave and get it as well. The other shade looks too glittery for my liking to use as a balm so I know I will have to skip on that 🤷🏼‍♀️

@gonerogue  I just wonder why the product description doesn’t match the product. If not for the product photos, the description would be very misleading. Kinda unusual for PMG. I always notice this kind of thing on product pages and ads, thanks to years of preventing it from happening on my former employer’s site. I can’t not notice it anywhere now. 😄 

Anyway, I’m sure Noir will work great for you! I hope someone who buys it will show it swatched over a couple of lipstick shades, to see if it can “enhance” other shades like most other sheer black balms are designed to do. I own several Lip Fetish Balms and I don’t normally use them as balms under any other lip product, because they’re all quite pigmented on me. I have tried using one to alter a topping lipstick’s color. It’ll be interesting to see Noir used that way. 

The blue sparkly balm is something I don’t think I have in my collection yet—closest I probably have a very glittery blue violet Givenchy topper, or maybe Bite’s Peacock Pearl gloss—and since I love to wear “unconventional” lipstick shades, that’s definitely the one I’m drawn to.
