Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Yes, @Libellules! I had an almost identical thought process (and nearly had a heart attack at the thought that I might have missed them!) But yeah. The two things you (and I!) are both eyeballing are the 003, which hasn't been released yet.

breathing again, whew.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Libellules

They have and sold out.

001 was called Gold 001 - released/sold out

002 was called Phantom 002- Had multiple colors and came in a pack with all those colors in the 1st release/sold out.  2nd release the colors were sold separately/sold out.  It included Fuchsia, Blue, Copper, Gold and a black eye gloss.

Hope I got that right Smiley Wink

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Thought I should add images to @veronika23 's post

These were 001 and 002 respectively and if I am not wrong first two releases were sold only through her own website.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Thank you @fatimamummy @veronika23 @Mochapj

This whole time, I thought that gold bag of sequins what the first gold pigment (That you had to melt down or something :x). I didn't realize there was a whole kit in the bag. All I could think was "man, this Pat Mcgrath is hardcore."

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Libellules yeah I didn't get the sequins either... I was like what the heck is that for! So you aren't alone on that one Smiley Happy

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I think I'm confused @veronika23. I'm waiting on these:

s1831247-main-hero.jpg

I thought these were 001 and 002, but it doesn't look that way? Extra confused because her site shows a bag of Sequins, and Sephora.com shows this whole kit, and then a bag of sequins???

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Thanks @fatimamummy for the pics!  @Libellules that should help with the confusion. @Mochapj is right about how it's packaged.

I find it weird how she names things. Both are called Skin Fetish 003 one color is nude, the other golden. It's like she packages her stuff under one name and then splits it into colors. SO basically "ignore" the 003.  Skin Fetish is the product, nude and golden are the colors Smiley Happy

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@veronika23 the 003 just refers to it being the third product kit she's launched.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Mochapj I figured that. I just find it odd still Smiley Wink seems to cause confusion that's why Smiley Happy

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

These are both 003 - 003 in gold & 003 in nude. They go up on her site tomorrow & then Sephora allegedly on 5/2, but with how they've been rolling out products lately I might just buy from Pat McGrath's site directly..

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Libellules The bag of sequins is how all her kits come packaged

what you have pictured is both shades of 003

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Yes, you did.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

After being REALLY excited about getting the Metalmorphosis kit I'm ashamed to say I still haven't opened it. Has anyone had success with this kit besides @kso1225

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Lyrical0238 I'm glad I'm not the only one, I was feeling very guilty. My Everything Kit has been sitting on my vanity patiently waiting. I've just had way too much going on recently to be able to play with my makeup like I want to. Hopefully I'll be able to get to it before Christmas.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@KMariel I'm glad I'm not the only one with the Everything Kit sitting unopened. I've had a few chances to play with it, but I didn't want to open it without some input from the lovely ladies on BT.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I love my pigments,I have been using them with too faced shadow insurance (the regular one). The creams are ok but the stars of this kit are the pigments for me.I don't wear black eye liner so no comments on that.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Seymore3 Thank you for telling me your opinion on the kit. I don't really wear black liner either, so I was going to give the liner away or trade it (if I keep the kit).

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I've been testing mine out one shade at a time and as long as I use primer it holds up beautifully all day.

the only shade that's given me trouble is the silver cream - it creased on me very noticeably.  All the powder pigments have worked fine, though, as have the rest of my creams.

my only real disappointment has been the liner. My eyes are not prone to products smearing and I don't rub them but the liner does not stay put at all.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Yes, the liner is very dissapointing for me as well. I don't think I have ever had liner on the top lid smear as much as this did. I'm afraid to even try it again, especially if I'm going out in public.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Which primer and how are you applying? TIA!  @Mochapj

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@wheeeee I've used a few different primers, depending on how I want to wear the product.

if I'm using one of the creams all over the lid, I use Nars pro prime, then pat on the cream. in some instances I've left it at that and used powder shadow for creasework, etc, but in other cases I've topped the cream with one of the powder pigments.

if I am only trying to use the powder pigments as a patted on product on top of my shadow, i use tom ford primer pot (apply cream base and then set with included powder) then apply my eyeshadow look and use a fingertip to press the powder pigment on top of that. In general I don't apply pigments like this with a brush - too much fallout that way.
