Hello, lovelies! I've got a question for any of you who own, or has tried, NARS - Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner - Rue Bonaparte ( it's the nude one ). Does it last, and how long, on the lower waterline?

@lyravega I’ve used RB in the past but not repurchased because its tone isn’t right for me.

in general nars’ liner formula isn’t super creamy, IMO. It’s definitely more on the drier side/almost tugging. 

I don’t have super sensitive or watery eyes, but found it didn’t hold up all day on the waterline. That’s not specific to this colour, though; I find that with all NARS liners I only get 3-4 hours.

@lyravega I've had pretty decent results with the MJ fineliner ones - I think the shade is called Nudist or something along those lines?

I've also had good hold with the MUFE Aqua XL line in my waterline. I could've sworn they had a nude shade in the range but I don't see one on the Canadian Sephora site anymore 😞

Thanks, @Mochapj . Yeah, I don't see that one on the US site, either. Bummer. Have you ( or anyone else feel free to jump in! ) tried MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Brow, Eye & Lip Liner 500 Boundless Bisque?

@lyravega sorry, I haven't tried that specific shade or any of those on my waterline specifically.

@lyravega I have used it before. If you set it with a primer and your eyes don’t water from it you shouldn’t have a problem with it lasting almost 6-8 hours.

@lyravega set your undereye with a primer and to make the liner last longer apply a  shadow of the same color on top for the color to last longer.

Thanks, @SportyGirly125  . I do all that. I was just curious how does it perform on its own. On the waterline. Not under eye or in my lower lash line. It's a nude color. I just need it on my waterline. And hopefully it is not so overly creamy to end up in my lower lashes/lash line anyway, in which case it is of no use to me.

@lyravega when I use it on its own it last a few hours on the waterline.  It glides on smooth and is not overly creamy at least for me.

Does anyone know what the last 6 pan is called? I recognize the others, but I haven't seen that bottom one anywhere and I'm kind of interested in it!!!

I looked on Sephora, Ulta and the Nars site, but can't seem to find it!

@Javadoo the website I pulled that from has it listed as palette '1199' - it's a Chinese website and they often refer to the products by their inventory # rather than the product name.

I think it's possible it might be an Asia-exclusive combo but if I see anything else about it, I'll let you know.
