Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

I love getting massages! I can't get them too often but when I do, it feels so good! I tend to have a lot of tension and stiffness in my back and shoulders. If only I was rich and had an on-hand masseuse!

I would have to say yes.  Not to the massage being addicting but to the relaxed happy state you leave in.

Doesn't this model in an ad for YSL Black Opium look like BlackWhiskey? (The fine print of the ad says she's Edie Campbell. I'm not up on my models, so that doesn't mean anything to me.) (Also, I randomly started receiving Cosmo a few months ago ... ? The only thing I can think of is that I signed up for the mag subscription using a Sephora promo code.)

I googled the model and frankly, she should rock the BW look full-time. She's pretty otherwise, but is 100% gorgeous as a BW cosplayer.

She does! I also recently started getting Cosmo thru the free Sephora code. It's horrible and tacky but I shamefully am enjoying it each month and take it for what its worth. I get Elle too, which was also thru Sephora, but that's less embarrassing. 🙂

Yeah I followed a blog that used to do a "Cosmocking" post every month... and eventually she quit doing it because there was less and less mockable material! ...and also because they recycle the same ridiculous "dear god don't actually try this at home" sex tips over and over again so eventually it gets boring... 😄

Has anyone actually tried the Makeup Eraser?  I've been curious about it and saw a first impressions video by vintageortacky on YouTube on it.  I'm just kinda worried about all that rubbing.  That can't be good for the skin right?

the rubbing on the eyes is baaaaaad, almost got fine lines under eyes (i'm 21 lol), you need a Q-tip for eyes. It's good for other parts of the face though.
