Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

Yeah guz, as they say you can lead a horse to water but you can't force them to drink it. But good for you for continuing to try. It's hard work but very important work.

i also forgot to mention: he's going to a dermatologist, too, where not only are they checking out his sunspots, she CONVINCED HIM TO VISIT HER ESTHETICIAN FOR REGULAR FACIALS. he never listened to me, but whatever gets him there.

I love that he's doing something for himself, not others. Doing stuff that makes you happy isn't for vanity, it's for your mental well being. I know that people (esp women) get a lot of **bleep** for wearing makeup. Do they think we just wear makeup for others?? NOPE. We do it for ourselves and for more confidence. I know when I'm sick, doing my makeup makes me feel a lot better because it's a distraction and just something different. So happy for y'all. I know seeing him happy will make you feel better too.

I feel like this is such a first world problem, but my left brow is naturally thick & has a nice shape. my right brow is just sad looking and has a bald spot near the front of the brow 😞 if they were both equally thick and shaped I wouldn't even use brow products but ones Gucci and the other's dollar store. Do any of y'all have this problem too? Any brow serums to promote growth that has actually worked for you? I'd love to hear your experiences/recommendations.

Oh yes I have this problem too.  One brow is pretty much perfect and the other one is kind of bare at the tail.  It's so annoying!  So I fill in one brow to look  like the other.  Such a struggle.

IT'S JUST SO ANNOYING TO SEE. It's like having one side of your face totally clear and the other side have pimples when you treat them the same!! I'm just too lazy and frustrated that I have to only fill in one part of my brow.

I used a serum called eye envy that my MIL got from her esthetician to grow mine back.  I used to be a serial overplucker and it really helped to promote more growth from areas that had been bare for years.

its supposed to be for lashes, but it worked on my brows.
