Ok so I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I've also been wanting to start a "random thoughts" thread...but I figured I'd separate the categories so that at least the "beauty" one is on the front page, rather than hidden in off topic. So, have a beauty-related thought but don't think it's worth starting a thread about ? Post it here !

today I got a facial at an extraordinarily nice spa. A real treat. And the results were immediate and truly great. But guys: she pulled out a clarisonic and a foamy cleanser for that first initial cleanse, and I nearly had a heart attack. Great for a lot of people but most of you know how I feel about those things !!!!!! Overall, as I said, it was great and my skin is happy. But sheesh.

I eat in bed a lot!  I've never had a visitor in bed (other than a spider).

 We had an ant problem last year and the year before.  We nuked the foundation of the house with poison and things settled down. The odd ant gets into the house still.

Right outside our back fence is open space so we get a lot of critters and during the summer the ants keep trying to get in.  So we use fogger - those canisters that you put all around the house and while they are releasing poison into the  air you have to leave the house for a few hours.  Once we do that we're pretty safe for months.

Here's the back of my head. Just had my hair done and my stylist put it up on her IG page. So now you know what I look like from behind. I'm going ombré purpley/blue next week. I. Can't. Wait.

LOL! Trust me, it only looks this good when a professional does it. It's usually in a bun or ponytail. I'm challenged in the styling dept. I can barely braid.
