welcome back to the junk drawer of random beauty thoughts and musings. it has been nearly a year, so i think it is time for a rew RT thread ! 

when i'm doing my makeup in the morning, my dog sometimes throws a fit until i move his food bowl over to where i'm sitting. i'm certainly not the diva in our relationship.

I heard that Eva NYC is a low cost sister brand to Amika.

@greeneyedgirl107 - No, both brands are owned by the same parent company, Bansk Group.  They were independent of each other before being acquired and are still separate.  Eva NYC is supposed to be good from what I've heard, though I've not tried anything yet.

Does anyone else get nostalgic if they look at their order history? I get nostalgic over discontinued products, or remembering the excitement of opening a particular order, or what I was thinking or doing or planning when I placed the order.  Just me?

@Mel231 I love looking over past orders.   I especially like looking over the rewards I received in those great polka boxes.

It's not just you, @Mel231 ! 😘  I'll look up past orders for a specific item, then see products I completely forgot about because they've been discontinued or are no longer carried at Sephora.  It makes me stop in my tracks to reminisce.  I usually start looking at my orders for other such items, totally forgoing my original quest! 😄

@Mel231it's not just you, I get that feeling when I look at makeovers, I have all those emails.  And, you can see product recommendations posted in rec section of your BI profile on mobile from makeovers and some of the mini services (single features), if it was entered.  So many good products long gone 🥲

What do we think of the Free Fragrance Set (code samplescents) being a repeat from V-Day?  It dampened my enthusiasm.   I've been waiting for another, but...

Did anyone get the Mystery Offer in today's email?  I was hopeful for 20% off, but it was 3x the points.  Did anyone get anything different or exciting?

@greeneyedgirl107 - Basically I got what amounted to an ad for what's showing on the site:  5x for Sephora Collection and 4x for everything else.
