Welcome to Year 7 of our Pan It! Challenge
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
Getting Started (please share the following)

Tips and Tricks to Panning/Getting Some Use Out of Your Stash:
Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:
Past Panning Challenges:
*shows up 5 mo. Late with Starbucks* had me cracking up! 😂😂 hard relate! But you've inspired me to work towards hitting pan and trying to use up older products just wasting away in favor of shiny new goodies. Thank you!!
@caitbird You've got this! No bad time to start a project up!
@missjeanie thank you! I'm having fun with it so far!
@caitbird Your goals are achievable! Holy cow, your collection is amazing 🤩
@lmaster thank you! Just trying to chip away at it!
@caitbird WOW! Best if luck to you. Those eye palettes look fun. Texture aside, do you think that the ALPYN Willow & Sweet Agave Plumping Lip Mask .35 oz/ 10 mL was effective?
@Mel231 thank you! To be honest, I have never really noticed any plumping of my lips after using the mask - it is definitely nice and moisturizing, but idk about the "plumping" claims. That being said, I think from the way I sleep a lot of it gets rubbed off overnight, so that might be why.
@caitbird it's never too late to join! And wow, you have a lot to work on but I'm excited to see your progress.
@CookieGirl1 thank you! Lol yes, I think I was probably overly ambitious (again 😅) but I have so many products I want to work through or use and I like having different things to work on. So I will just try to do what I can and have fun with it, and not stress too much if I don't get to it all!
@caitbird you can join anytime!! Things always change! You have some great items to work through! Do you love any of them? Is there any that your not loving so much?
@ather thank you! 💜 Most of the items I'm trying to finish are "likes" that I'm trying to work through so I can focus on my "loves" (I have a bad habit of having too many items open at once 😅). There are a few here that I do really like though - the LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Niacinamide & Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL is really nice, and the Glossier concealer is my favorite concealer (this is the old version, which I want to finish before moving on to the new one). Most of my full size perfumes are loves as well (which is why I bought them, and want to make sure I actually use them!). On the other hand, the COSRX toner is underwhelming and I don't care for the texture of the ALPYN Willow & Sweet Agave Plumping Lip Mask .35 oz/ 10 mL so I will be glad to finish those.
@caitbird, a ‘sup right back at ya! You know, there’s no time like the present to jump right on in to the pan it! challenge! 😊 Seems like you’ve been working on panning goals for a while and love that you are sharing them with all of us now.
You have some amazing products you’re working your way through and some awesome goals! 😍 Excited to see all the progress you will make and any looks you create with these beauties -
nails, eyeshadows, lippies - on the various boards here (and interested to know if you will discover some favorites along the way)!
@itsfi thank you so much! You are always so encouraging, I really appreciate it 💜 Sharing panning goals & progress updates with everyone here makes things so much more fun! I am happy to say that I have already made some good progress on my goals in the past week, and hope to keep that up. I did a Star Wars-inspired look yesterday using ND Xenon palette & one of my red lipsticks, which I posted in What are you wearing today Pt2 . But I will post a progress update here in a month or so too.
@caitbird Definitely better late than never!! I must know where you got that storage for the samplers? I really like that idea. I do hope you'll share your eye and lip looks in the 100 challenge threads.
@Samtian thank you! The organizer is from Amazon - it's called BINO The Manhattan Series, and the shallow drawers are perfect for perfume samples. I'm quite happy with it - before, my perfume samples were all piled in a drawer in my bathroom vanity, and now it's so much easier to find what I'm looking for!
@caitbird Thank you! Right now mine sit in a big caboodle type case. I just randomly grab when it's time for one. I really like the idea of alphabetical order.
@Samtian I usually pick what fragrance I'm going to wear based on my mood/what sounds good at the time (based on looking up the notes/description if it's one I haven't tried yet), so it's helpful to me to be able to find a specific sample relatively easily.
