@greeneyedgirl107 Nope. 🙂 Some folks mistake sebaceous filaments for blackheads and keep trying to permanently get rid of ‘em. Thing is, sebaceous filaments will always fill back up with sebum because that’s part of their function. Salicylic acid is a good maintenance ingredient to keep them clear enough that you don’t get many of those little sebum threads (a friend calls them oil worms 😂) on your skin surface.

@heartsmyface Yeah, when I first posted Firebird in this thread, I complained about the bleeding—and that was in 2018. 😂 I always use MAC Cosmetics Prep + Prime Lip Primer 0.05 oz/ 1.7 g plus a colored lip liner to keep Firebird under control. In fact, I always use MAC’s lip primer as a clear liner to stop lipsticks from bleeding/feathering, though some lipsticks can’t be controlled. I’ve tried UD’s Ozone liner/primer but, for me, it doesn’t work nearly as well as MAC’s. Somewhere in this thread is my lip swatch photo of Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick shade Iced Out (an even worse bleeder than Firebird) where I compared both primers head to head. MAC won. I know many folks love UD’s though. I’m glad it works well for you!

Hi All!I LOVE pigments but I have a severe shellfish and crustacean allergy that presents when I use reds, oranges and purples around my eyes. Does anyone know of brands that omit carmine, chitin and cochineal?OR! Anything that helps to neutralize these ingredients?
