Another month has passed and May is almost here! It is time for everyone to share their April favorites. We’re so excited to learn about the best hair, skincare, fragrance, and/or makeup products you were using the most during the month April. Whether it is something new, your faithful holygrail product from 2009, or maybe just a favorite you rediscovered, we want to hear all about it 🙂

Here are my April faves:

It was soooo hard to narrow down my favorites for the month of April, but here goes nothing!:

1. Dior Backstage Eye Palette 003 Amber Neutrals: The colors in this palette are perfect for my green eyes and the formula blends beautifully. (*gifted)

2. Fresh Rose Deep Hydration Sleep Mask: After just one use I noticed that my skin felt plumper and more moisturized. Now that I’ve been using it for two weeks, my skin just looks healthier and more refreshed! (*gifted)

3. Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist: This mist smells like watermelon Jolly Ranchers and it feels super refreshing as an afternoon pick-me-up!

4. Glow Recipe Pineapple C Bright Serum: LOVE! Check out my recent post for more of my thoughts on this one. (*gifted)

5, Farmacy Better Daze Ahead CDB Moisturizer: This is another skincare fave that yields almost instant results - it is super thick and luxe and makes my skin feel healthier and more moisturized right away! (*gifted)

6. First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer: This is a really moisturizing primer that makes my skin look more glowy under my makeup. (*gifted)

7. Artist Couture Diamond Glow Powder in Summer Haze: Simply Breathtaking!

8. Glossier Birthday Balm dotcom Universal Skin Salve: I use this as a lip balm, but it is a salve you can use anywhere. Birthday smells like cake with buttercream frosting and it makes my perpetually dry lips feel really soothed and less chapped instantly.

9. Atelier Pacific Lime Cologne Absolue Pure Perfume: This is one of my all time favorite Atelier scents, but even if I didn’t like the scent, I would cherish this perfume because of the custom #sephorasquad case! Such a lovely memento from our launch party! (*gifted).

10. Huda Beauty Power Matte Bullet Lipstick in Joyride: Gorgeous, creamy and long-lasting!

@Tamara76, beautiful photo as always!! So many wonderful products too - I want to try so many of them. Isn't the Atelier Pacific Line just amazing? I spritzed it in the store and couldn't stop smelling my wrist. 🙂 I don't need another fragrance but I have a feeling it will end up on my vanity at some point. LOL! 😉 That Fresh sleeping mask is on my list too!

Favorite skincare items in April

Reusable airless pump jar and bottle: I bought 2 jars and 3 bottles on Amazon. This jar holds my YTTP Superfoods moisturizer, and the bottle holds The Ordinary Buffet. The bottle is great for travel, despite its size. I prefer this plastic bottle over the glass Ordinary dropper bottle. EDIT: If you have a full size Drunk Elephant Lala Retro or Protini jar, then you already have a reusable airless pump jar. 🙂 Remove the pump top, push the interior platform thingy down to the bottom, clean the jar, and refill with the cream of your choice!

DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE - Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum: I’ve probably listed this as a monthly favorite before. This stuff has erased the sun damage darkness from my undereyes. It can’t do anything about my darkness caused by hollow skin. But I just spent a week in hot Caribbean weather and used concealer only once.

E.l.f. Nourishing Facial Oil: Repaired my extremely dry flaky eyelids (bad reaction to another product). Also helps the tip of my nose when it gets chapped/flaky. And it’s nice as an overall face oil, with lots of antioxidants and nothing my skin hates.

Skinfix Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream 3 oz/ 89 mL: Thanks again, Sephora, for gifting this to me! I wish I’d known about this magical stuff in January. I don’t have eczema but my hands do get very dry in cold weather, and this hand cream saves them. I like this even more than CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.

OLAPLEX - No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme: Another generous gift from Sephora. I’ve used it twice now and my coils—especially my crazy 3C patches—love it.

Routine natural deodorants: A friend bought me a bunch of minis to try. I’ve used Agent Nateur (No. 3) for 2 years and didn’t think anything else could work as well for me, since I’d tried many other natural deodorants. These are the 3 Routine scents that proved me wrong. I put them to the ultimate tests this month: HIIT workouts, runs, high stress nervousness, and a week on a Caribbean cruise. They impressed me enough to buy full sizes.

Black Up Lipstick No. 28: One of my favorite purple lipsticks. Creamy, comfy, great performance, and it looks like grape jam on my lips. I wore it a lot in April. Black Up’s creme finish bullets deserve more hype.

PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance™ Lipstick Elson: The red lipstick I wore most often in April. My Elson mini has earned a permanent spot in my travel makeup bag.

LANCôME - Blur & Go Stick: My shiny oily nose’s bff. When summer arrives, I’ll probably list it again, along with a setting powder.

Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Excite: My new favorite coral blush. Long lasting, easy to blend, and very pigmented. I need more Illamasqua blushes in my life.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Hot Line Brush Tip Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner 01 Black: Another gratis item from Sephora. It’s become my favorite black liquid liner because of its very precise and non-floppy brush, plus its resistance to feathering. I can do fun detail work with this thing.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Sephora Colorful® Waterproof Eyeshadow & Eyeliner Multi-Stick 39 My Boyfriend's Jeans: One of the 2 eyeshadow sticks I wore most in April. I’m in love with this blue shade. It’s fantastic for travel.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Waterproof Cream Eyeshadow Stick Golden Pink: This was a GWP and I’ll definitely buy the full size. I like to wear this alone on my lids and let it transfer up my crease on its own, for a simple sparkly eye look that pairs perfectly with bold lipsticks—especially “unconventional” shades. (Haha, I still say there’s a blue lipstick out there for everyone!) Another perfect travel buddy.

@itsfi If you decide to try the Blur & Go stick, I hope it works for you! I’ve tried many other mattifying blur-effect primers on my nose and always return to this one. On me, it keeps oily shine at bay for at least 3 hours, depending on weather/temperature. To extend the effect, I usually pair it with Beauty Bakerie Flour setting powder when temps warm up. And since it’s a stick, I can easily carry it with me and reapply as needed. Bonus points for not making my skin throw tantrums. 🙂

You're selling me on the blur stick primer even more @WinglessOne! I like that it is portable and even better that there's no skin temper tantrum; in the summer, I find it necessary to have something on hand to touch up during the day. I have also been interested in trying Beauty Bakerie products so who am I not give the setting powder a try over the blur stick?! lol! I have one more package from the sale coming in so I'll probably take a little breather from purchases for a little bit but next month (and summer) are just around the corner...
