Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

2019-4-8-community-adds-to-basket-gif-yellow-250x250.gif

We’ve started to see some of you buzzing with excitement here on the BIC because Sephora’s Spring Savings Event is nearly here. This means it’s almost time to make some shopping decisions! We know many of us are sheltering in place, which may mean we’re focusing on at-home self-care like candles, skincare tools, or even immunity-boosting products. We are also seeing that a lot of people have been sticking to their daily beauty routines so may want to pick up their holy grails and a new product or ten (or maybe that’s just us?). Regardless of what you’re shopping for, most of us can agree that a Sephora package (for yourself or a loved one) is a great mood-lifter, especially when it comes at a discount!

If you’re Rouge (like us!) you will get 20% off your purchase, VIBs get 15% off, and Insiders get 10% off. We have everything detailed in these FAQs if you want to know more about exclusions, how to shop, and when this sale is happening for your Beauty Insider tier, so be sure to read the FAQs.

Many of us either like to ask questions or give advice to inspire others’ shopping decisions. In this community of beauty lovers, it’s nearly impossible to find a product somebody hasn’t tried so let’s use this thread to help each other out.

Hourglass ambient light in luminous light, give a a lot from within look its amazing! I’ve given up my flashy highlights because I love this glow

Re: RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I had at least 4-5 people tell me this, it sounds like an amazing product! but because I wear so little makeup and no powders, I thought it would maybe take away from the dewy finish my products give

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I love Becca in the compact.  It’s buildable and has great shade range.

RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I have the Nudestix Nudies glow in two colours and I love them! I don’t wear foundation so for me it goes on really well when I apply it with my fingers. It also lasts all day for me but my skin is dry. It’s a cream product so it looks really natural just gives you a nice glow. Hope this helps!

RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

There aren’t any big chunks of glitter or anything like that, more of just a glow

Re: RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

Forgot to ask... when the product is on your face, are there glitters?

Re: RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

no fondation gang! yes it helps thank you x

I love, love, love Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter 1 - Fair . I like keeping things minimal too; a little goes a long way with this product. I used it prior to a zoom meeting the other day and I’m not too vain to say I looked good. 😉

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

aww yes! I love this, you glow girl x thank you!!

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

Skip the Nudestix option @verodevo . I remember reading reviews that people complained that when they applied the highlighter over foundation that is was streaky. I would like to give you an additional suggestion but how about using a primer which gives you a nice natural subtle glow. Two suggestions are LILAH B. - Aglow™ Priming Oil & Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Face Primer 1.35 oz/ 40mL . You could even use either without any other makeup.

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

okay thank you!! I'll look into it, but if I only use a BB cream, do I really need a primer?

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I wear a primer no matter what kind of foundation or BB cream to extend the wear @verodevo

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I went ALL OUT during this VIB sale. I repurchased a lot of my favorite products + bought some new thing I've been eyeing for a while.

  • BELIF - The True Cream Aqua Bomb - I've been using their moisturizing bomb which I LOVE but wanted to try this out for the warmer months
  • OLEHENRIKSEN Balancing Force™ Oil Control Toner 6.5 oz/ 193 mL - I have super oily skin so anything that helps control my oils is a must try! Haven't received this item yet but excited to try
  • Dolce&Gabbana L'Imperatrice Eau de Toilette 3.3 oz / 100 mL - Whenever I go to my local Sephora, I always spritz this on because it's one of those "low-key" scents that not a lot of people wear. Finally made the decision to purchase this after all these months
  • OLEHENRIKSEN - Truth Serum® Mini - Stocking up on these because they are THAT good. Brightens up my skin + really good for layering skincare products
  • FOREO - LUNA™ 3 for Combination Skin - So...I have the Luna Mini that I purchased 3 years ago which still works perfectly well but I would love to upgrade... not sure if I will just yet but this is something that I have been thinking about for a while
  • JO MALONE LONDON - Yuja Cologne - I love citrus scents and because I couldn't go to my local Sephora to test out this product, I immediately purchased this and I'm so glad I did. This is one of the colognes I can share with my boyfriend because we both love it on each other.

Hey cuties, a girl needs help, I’m trying to look for products that can enhance my Wavy hair (2a). Please recommend me inexpensive products, ideally $40 below. Thanks so much 💕💕💕

Re: RE: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

Actually, same! I recently bought the OUAI - Wave Sprayin a set, and it seemed to work okay. I was also thinking about buying the SEPHORA FAVORITES - Must Have Minis Kit which has a handful of hair products in it! Oh, I also LOVE the DEVACURL - SUPERCREAM™ Coconut Curl Styler. I use it as a leave in conditioner in the summer, and I let my hair air dry! It makes it so soft and scented of coconuts!

What eyeshadow pallets are you guys liking right now? I’m looking for something new.

RE: Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I love the Fenty Snap Shadows! So many shades to choose from and mix and match!

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

@CoyaJacks @Anything from Pat Mcgrath and Natasha Denona

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

Would love recommended products for sensitive combination skin please! Ty!!!

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

I’m sensitive (to breakouts) and am combination type, and have had great luck with all The Ordinary products I’ve used.  The Buffet is a great place to start.  Price friendly, too!

Re: Spring Savings Event 2020: What’s on Your List?

Hello! Youth To The People Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser with their Superfood Airwhip Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer works wonders on my sensitive, combination skin. Also, in the winter time Caudalíe Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum with their Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is amazing! Good luck!
