Thank you, that’s so helpful! ❤️
Hi there!
Quick Question! Currently, I’m using the Glow Recipe line in which I totally love because it’s light and makes my skin glow. However, I wanted to know if there was a product in this line that specifically targets acne scars? If not, what product would you recommend for dealing with acne scars? My skin type is oily if that helps!
Hope this finds you doing well! This maaay be a bit of a complex answer buuuuut....
There are quite a few options from the Glow Recipe range that might help to lighten hyperpigmentation, but they all help to brighten overall, and don't necessarily feature a target treatment. They offer ingredients that gently exfoliate which in turn, helps to remove pigmented cells from the surface layer of the skin. They're new Watermelon Glow Toner is an easy way to exfoliate daily, because it contains large-molecule, PHA which exfoliates with less chance of irritation. Since it's a Toner, it will also help to minimize the appearance of pores. But If you REALLY want to get in there make some serious change, you might want to introduce a product specifically designed to lighten pin-point concerns. I love recommending treatments like Kate Somerville D-Scar because it's roll-on activator helps to concentrate the product exactly where it needs to be! This dual-sided approach is essential for seeing quick results. I would feel out of pocket if I didn't mention SPF. and what better time to stock up because Supergoop is currently offering a Value Size of their signature Unseen Sunscreen. Definitely one of my top picks to spend during the Promo!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner 5.07 oz/ 150 mL
KATE SOMERVILLE - D-Scar™ Scar Diminishing Serum
SUPERGOOP! - Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40
Would it be bad to use more that one or two hair products? I bought KéRASTASE - Elixir Ultime Oil Serum, Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL, and Living Proof No Frizz Instant De-Frizzer 6.2 oz/ 208 mL to try and am wondering if I can use all 3 at once. My hair is damaged, dry, and frizzy, and its quite unruly. Thanks!
I agree. I would caution you yo not use the two oil at once, as that might weigh down the hair, or prevent styling products from holding.
You can mix products. You may not want to mix KéRASTASE - Elixir Ultime Oil Serum and Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil 1 oz/ 30 mLtogether. Use them separately. You can alternate.
I recently purchased Sunday Riley U.F.O. Ultra Clarifying Face Oil and have been using it nightly for about a week now. Am I supposed to put a moisturizer/night cream over the oil before going to bed? I'm new to oils and not sure!
In this instance in particular you can use the oil before moisture because Sunday uses a blend of essential oils that are design to help with oil-production and you want to make sure that it can touch the skin directly. The potent botanicals are ultra-lightweight and are amazing for help to keep the pores clean. Sunday's team recommends using this as you would a serum, because it's so quick absorbing.

What are your favorite tools for applying cream beauty products?
@Nickelliebear1 im assuming you are asking about application of cream makeup products such as blushes and eyeshadows right? for the types of products you have a few options. if you are using brushes you want to be sure your using a synthetic bristle when applying cream products. so for blush i will use SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Blush Brush #99, i love the shape of this brush for blush application or sculpting with creams as well. you can also use a Beautyblender Beautyblender® pro one pro beautyblenderto apply cream blush if you find blending creams difficult, this can help. for cream eyeshadow i love SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Shadow Brush #15, and also SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Crease Brush #27. but also so you know all the new Sephora Collection Pro brushes are now synthetic so you can technically use any of them for cream products without worry.
Hi, I’m currently cleansing and Toning my face day/night but my skin is dehydrated and looking dull cause I’m not using any glow serums or vitamin e. I would love to hear some suggestions that are a glow serum or glow moisturizer in the price range from 35.00-50.00 nothing too expensive.
Because you said your skin was dehydrated and dull I would recommend Olehenriksen's Truth Serum. It is collagen boosted and is formulated with Vitamin C. This will help with the dry/dullness of your skin and give you that fantastic glow you are looking for.
Go for a mini and give it a try!
OLEHENRIKSEN - Truth Serum® Mini
@sabmira10 you absolutely have to moisturize your skin. especially if your cleansing it and toning it. any moisturizer will help bring your skin back to its healthy glow . OLEHENRIKSEN C-Rush™ Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer 1.7 oz/ 50 mLis a great option , it will hydrate your skin plus infuse it with vitamin c which will help to brighten your skin and bring on that glowing complexion.
@VelvettTeddyy you are correct in that vitamin c is a great ingredient for the skin to help eliminate acne scars and any pigmentation issue . here are some great options DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE - C+ Collagen Brighten & Firm Vitamin C Serum , Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum 1.0 oz/ 30 mL, Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL
Hello! First of all, i hope everyone is safe and sound, and I send my best regards to all to stay well!
I am looking for advice or product recommendations for...
-mature hair that's been over-colored/processed, is thin, dry, and limp? (Part of a multi-step plan I have to help my mother feel and look better post-surgery)
-Recommendations for taming and enhancing overall style of thick curls (I've always opted to straighten my hair, but I'm Italian, I have a lot of it, and now it's getting a little rowdy!)?
-Affordable Vitamin C/Similar Serums
Thank you again very, very much! I appreciate any and all help and expertise!

Hi! I wear minimum make up (eyeliner/foundation/blush and white under eye liner), and I've consulted in stores before, they said that my face isn't oily. But, I always have a problem of my eyeliner (Kat Von D/ Ystila both waterproof) that seem to keep smudging under my eyes as the day goes on. Any advice on this? Thank you!
