@DavidBD wrote:@GACAH with the info you gave about your skintone and what i know about the Sephora Collection bronzers i would recommend choosing the shade 'Deep'. one thing to always consider is bronzers are made to be light in coverage ,they are not heavy, so this gives them the ability to be gradually built up. hope this helps!!
Hi there,
My teenaged daughter uses the Cover/Fx Power Play Concealer in shade N Light 2
That shade is currently sold out on the site. Can you please advise a shade that would work for her in another brand? She does have acne prone skin.
thank you so much!
Lucy
Hello! I have always liked makeup but I have never learned much about moisturizers, serum, sunscreen, a primer, a foundation, a concealer and a translucent powder that work very well on my combination skin. Usually, always after a few hours with a base, my forehead and nose area is very greasy and I would like to use products that are matte to avoid this. In addition, these areas usually peel a lot and when using the base it looks very ugly. I don't have skin with pores or frequent acne. I would like you to recommend some good products to help me do my makeup with healthy skin that looks like porcelain. I am Puerto Rican, I am 20 years old and my skin is white.
@Melanieaponte it sounds like you have very typical combination skin, the forehead and nose tend to get oily. this can be a problem when it comes to makeup. so here's what i think you should consider . to start be sure you are hydrating your skin ,or likely it will produce more oil to compensate for being dehydrated. try GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizerthis is lightweight yet hydrating , perfect for combo skin. you could add THE INKEY LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serumafter just to boost hydration without any oil or weight. next is primer, this is key to help combo skin. you can use FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primeron just your forehead and nose. placing it strategically like this will allow you to stop the issues and use less product. then continue with your normal makeup routine. hope this helps.
@AlliGC GUERLAIN - Lingerie De Peau Natural Perfection Foundation SPF 20is an absolutely gorgeous foundation , also i love HOURGLASS - Illusion® Hyaluronic Skin Tint, DIOR - Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation , and Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation 7.8!! all of these give beautiful adjustable coverage with a natural radiant glow!!
Hi, I have a question about chemical exfoliation. Usually I use an AHA serum or toner every other night, alternating with retinol (right now I'm using Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In-One AHA Lactic Acid Treatment ). I recently picked up THE ORDINARY - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. I'm wondering whether I can use that once a week while still incorporating Good Genes (not on the same night of course!), or whether using the Ordinary peel once a week is enough exfoliation on its own. I want to make sure I'm not over-exfoliating. Thanks!
@aroths good question, it really depend son the sensitivity of your skin. if you can handle it then i would say you can use the ordinary peel once a week and skip all other exfoliating treatments that day. then resume your normal routine the other days that you are not using the peel.
I’ve used OLEHENRIKSEN - Truth Serum® Mini for a couple of years and really liked it. How different is the new OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright 15% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum ? And are there any other vitamin c serums that you like?
@BubbasGal hi there, so yes this masque is slowly being removed, it is still available online and is on sale for now. the whole Sephoa Collection skincare line has been re-vamped and all products are now 'clean at sephora' so they are formulated without any of the ingredients many people are looking to avoid. plus the packaging and boxing are sourced from sustainably managed forests , so now your skin can look great and you can feel good about the planet as well. this is a new hydrating masque that they offer and its fantastic i think you will love t SEPHORA COLLECTION - Water Gel Mask Hydrate + Refresh!
Hi, Im in my 30's and want to amp up my skin care routine. I have dry skin, some uneven color, slight bags and wrinkles in my eye area. What products do you recommend for all skin care steps routine. I'm just getting into the different steps and 'm not sure what products to use and how to use them. Ty in advance!
@happiness21 hi there , i think i can help! to start consider a cleanser that also adds some hydration to the skin like FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser, then add a serum to help with the dryness, uneven skin tone and general aging , id recommend Summer Fridays CC Me Vitamin C + Niacinamide Serum this multitasking serum will help with all your concerns. then to hydrate the skin try Youth To The People Crème hydratante Adaptogen avec Ashwagandha + reishi 2 / 59this unique moisturizer uses adaptogens to target your skins own needs. then i would recommend a once or twice weekly exfoliating treatment like Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial™ AHA + BHA Mask this is essential to remove all the dry dead skin layers and resurface the skin to bring up the younger fresher skin layers. instant results that are vital to gorgeous skin.
Hello, friends! I have a few questions: 1) What's the best peel for someone who has acne scars (like depressions, ice pick scarring or box car)? I'm trying to get something for my mom who has done chemical peels in the past. 2) what's the best product for age spots? 3) what's a really good Neck Cream (aging prevention and treatment) for sensitive skin--most preferably fragrance free. 4) can you recommend an eye cream for.crows feet and got sensitive skin? 5) finally, is it okay to use Josie maran argan oil as my only moisturizer?
Thank you!!!
So grateful for your help.
@loveyall hi! so any peel will be helpful in reducing the appearance of any scar or texture on the skin surface. it mostly depends on the sensitivity to peels that would determine what is best for each person. DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE - Clinical Grade Resurfacing Liquid Peelis a pro strength at home peel that will show wonderful results. DERMALOGICA - Rapid Reveal Peelis another wonderful pro strength at home peel !
for Age spots there are different ways to approach this, a peel will help to resurface and reduce appearance of dark spots, but ingredients like vitamin c really help to combat age spots , try Sunday Riley C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum . for the neck IT COSMETICS - Confidence in a Neck Creamis wonderful. there are alot of amazing eye creams out there that combat fine lines and wrinkles DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango™ Multivitamin Eye Cream is great at bringing the eye area back to amore youthful fresh look. and finally ,yes JOSIE MARAN - 100 percent Pure Argan Oilis a fantastic moisturizer and can be used as your only moisturizer daily.
Hi there,
I’m in my late thirties now and have been using OLEHENRIKSEN - Truth Serum® Mini for 2 years now and really liked It. I’ve found other vitamin c serums cause me to have reactions. With the spring sale though, I’m wondering if I should upgrade to the new OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright 15% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum instead. Is there a big difference? Should I use something else? Thanks for your help!
@stellaellaolla i think if the Truth Serum is working and you like it , then stick with it. i don't think there is enough a difference in the 2 to shift. 🙂
