Skincare Routine of the Day

This is a place to share your skincare routine of the day!  Whether it be daytime routine or nighttime routine, I know you have one.  From simple to complex, expensive to inexpensive products: show and tell! If you are anything like me, your skincare routine changes daily. Skincare isn't as showy as makeup, but it is the quiet work horse of our daily lives. 20200118_005115.jpg

You might want to include with your post: your skin type, skin concerns (& the weather where you are).

⭐ Sometimes if all you can do is your skincare, that is enough.

RE: Skincare Routine of the Day

I’m building up my routine slowly. This is what I used today

Re: RE: Skincare Routine of the Day

@KehDee I wanted to love the OH balance line, but it broke me out so badly. I'm a big fan of the c rush moisturizer though.

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

Last night, weather is hot. Skin is normal.

Spoiler
Trying out the Burt's Bees bakuchiol serum this week. First impressions, the scent was lovely. Didn't notice as much immediate plumping as I have with others, but woke up this morning to happy skin. This was only my first use.

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

Love all the pink in the photo. I'm trying to test out more products from Kora Organics. I've love the KORA ORGANICS - Noni Radiant Eye Oil and use it daily and I've had my eyes on the Vitamin C serum. <333

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@PenelopeBT I haven’t tried the eye oil yet! Thank you for the suggestionSmiley Happy

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@eshoe   This photo is so beautifully pink! I have some Herbivore Bakuchiol I need to try still.  I think once I’m finished my Luna night oil I’ll switch over and see if my skin notices any changes.  Which ones have you tried?

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@heartsmyface the BB is the last of the Bakuchiols for me to give a one week each trial to.  I’m still formulating my thoughts, but happy to say that I’m not as heart-broken on the Herbivore as I was when I started this ventureSmiley Wink

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@eshoe

The snail essence is wonderful - took me a while to try it because..snail slime, but it is awesome. <3

Hope your skin continues to be happy with the serum - happy skin is always great. Smiley Wink

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@CoffeeWuff I looove how the CosRx makes my skin look, but it is pretty stringy. Benton does the same for my skin without the extra ick-factor😆99B9296F-D54A-4E60-B2EF-6D21C10370E5.jpeg

RE: Skincare Routine of the Day

Olehenriksen balance control cleanser and toner. The Ordinary niacin. Tatcha water cream. Olehenriksen banana bright eye cream.

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

I pulled out all my skincare and samples yesterday and decided to do a ‘Sample Sunday’.   D3871032-44B6-4E09-A124-6013D0BDAE28.jpeg

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@heartsmyface

A beauty foot stick? ;o Somehow seeing this makes me feel guilty about not taking good enough care of my feet. Thanks. ^.^

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@CoffeeWuff   Sorry for the little surge of guilt there.😜  It really is a lovely product.   You won’t suffer from dry feet with this.  It’s around $13-15 so it’s a steal for how effective it is.

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@heartsmyface

haha, it's fine - I will just have to have a look at the product then. Smiley Wink

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

Huh, interesting foot stick @heartsmyface. I've been using the Kora Organics Noni Glow  Body Balm on my feet since it leaves my skin too tacky. Plus when I use it that way, I don't have to get any on my hands Smiley Very Happy

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@eshoe   I’m imagining super glowy feet although I’ve never tried the Kora Noni GlowSmiley Wink. The Mediflower foot stick is basically a mix of super hydrating oils(shea butter, jojoba oil, apricot oil, macadamia oil) that soften the foot pads.  I love it!  This is my third stick.  It’s just not something I’ve ever thought to post before.  It just ended up in the photo and I didn’t think about it.  🤷‍♀️

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

I would bet it’s a very similar concoction @heartsmyface. It’s the best for lazy days.💜

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

Love this @heartsmyface , I'm trying to challenge myself to use up sample sizes this month.  Gotta ask... what is the Beauty Foot Stick?

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

@missjeanie  It’s an argan oil, Shea butter, jojoba oil and apricot oil stick.  It’s unscented and keeps your foot pads super soft between foot peels.  I don’t normally post my foot products but it snuck in there and it looks like everyone noticed🤗. It’s my behind the scenes holy grail.  i like to run so my feet are prone to callousing so this really helps keep them touchable.

Re: Skincare Routine of the Day

Very interesting!  @heartsmyface I won't even pretend that I like to run, but I do get callused feet a lot more often of late, old age or my preference for flip flops I'm not sure, but I've never really done much more than files and regular body lotion.  I like the sound of all the oils!
