Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

I think that's the way to go about it @bakeamuffin, to get the most bang for your buck! Schedule an appointment for a day you'll go into the store when you'll make a purchase of $75+ in products. If Sephora offers the $25 off $50 in December as they have in previous years, that might be a good time to try it.

Thanks for sharing your Perk Facial experience @itsfi!! Would it be weird to say that seeing all that gunk was cool for me? I just think it's amazing the stuff our bodies produce. 

I've seen signs about it when I'm shopping, but never thought about asking. It never seemed like my Sehpora's set up was conducive for the kind of facial I would expect.  Do you think it's only good for a one-time experience or is it worth a regular visit to Sephora for a treatment?

@sephoraaddict918, not weird at all. I asked Nola, the castmember who conducted the Perk Facial if I could take a pic of the gunk. I'm telling myself it could have been worse! LOL! 

For my skin, I think I would probably benefit from getting a Perk facial or something similar (whether at Sephora or elsewhere) with some regularity. They recommend every 30 days but for me personally that seems like it might be a lot and the cost adds up; I could maybe see myself considering doing it every 8-12 weeks.  Since it's a complimentary service with a $75 in-store purchase, it would be worthwhile to schedule an appointment in advance on a day when I know I will be making a larger purchase in-store.

@itsfi I had a perk facial recently (for free thanks Sephora) and loved it. It was gross but really satisfying to see all the dead skin and gunk that came off my face.

Completely agree @sprocketta!!  Have you tried the other facial they offer or just the Perk Facial? I'm having a hard time thinking that there's anything better than this Perk Facial. I can’t get over how nice my skin looks.

My skin was so much brighter afterward and even better the next day. I haven't tried the other. I will say if I'm going to spend $75+ in a visit I will definitely ask for one.

We’re getting closer to Halloween and I’m breaking out all the spooky masks! 👻💀🎃🕸🕷🌒 today I used the Hello Kitty Zombie sheet mask ☺️

The packaging alone gets 5/5! It’s so creepy cute! It was easy to tear open and unfold the mask, I was happy with how well it fit too! I left the mask on for 20 minutes before it began to dry out. I took it off to reveal glowing skin, my complexion looked calm and felt
hydrated. I only needed a little bit of moisturizer for the surface of my skin. I really enjoyed this mask, thank you for sending it to me @itsfi! 🖤
