Hello Lovelies! As we make our resolutions and check them twice, I thought we could start a skincare version of the Weekly Challenge. Many of us wanted to use more masks, shop our stash and focus on our Skin so hopefully this thread will be an inspiration to do just that. Join us with pictures and comments down below.

Masking Spreadsheet Info

Hello every, @eshoe and I are very happy to present the BIC Masking Challenge Spreadsheet. The idea is to have an easily searchable database of masks and reviews as a reference point when we are considering our next purchase. Data integrity was important to us so instead of everyone inputing data directly into the spreadsheet where theoretically information could be deleted or edited we have the questionnaire. It should take no longer then 1-2 minutes with the option for a more detailed review (which you can copy from your post on this thread).

Remember the idea is not to replace this thread. I personally love reading, commenting and interacting with all you amazing women here and that shouldn’t change. This would just be on top of that. Hopefully the more people that partake in this, the larger database of information we’ll have for reference. It will be extra effort in the beginning but then we would only need to input any new mask we’ve tried.

Since we aren’t allowed to post links, please PM or myself for it. You will also find this information on the original post so you don’t need a database to search for this post!

 Incase you need some help to filter/search results, try this :-

Search Specific Word or Phrase —> Edit -> Find and Replace -> Search Word

Filter/Organize by Columns --> Data -> Create a Filter -> Select Options
 

There are 2 ways to edit a response: 

1) Once you have completed a survey, click on the "Edit Your Response" link on that page. Once this page is closed, the only way to make a change is to:

2) PM @Aaliaa or @eshoe to make the change directly in the response spreadsheet

Each week there will be a new Masking Challenge posted. It will range from type of mask, brand specific week or fun challenges along the way.

Choose mask, take picture (with mask on or before), place mask on face, relax and dream of the next Sephora purchase you want to make, remove mask for healthier skin.

Another GlamGlow and Creme Shop duo!

The Creme Shop Charcoal Lemonade Fusion Sheet Mask.

The first thing I noticed about this mask was the scent– it has a lemon smell, but more like a lemon pledge type of smell- not bad, but not great. It is a black cotton mask and had a very good fit. I removed the mask after 30 minutes and my face was so soft, smooth and bright. My face definitely felt clean and refreshed, but it was also dry, which is what I expect when I use anything with charcoal. I liked this one but probably wouldn’t buy this one again, only because I have found other masks that have the same results but smell a lot better.

After the Creme Shop mask, I needed to add a little hydration so I decided use GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment. This is seriously my most favorite hydration mask! It felt cooling as I put it on and had a nice coconut scent. It felt wonderful on my dry skin– took away the dry patches I had and made my face feel soft and smooth. The hydration from this lasts a long time.

@curlychiquita I don’t think I have ever really enjoyed charcoal products! The hydrating ones are excellent and so are the 2 in 1 Fusion ones!

Oooh, ThirstyMud - fun!  That's a good one @Shosh85!  Sorry the Creme Shop one didn't work out for you.  I have one of the Creme Shop ones ... going to figure out another way to use it.  Hmmm....

The Creme Shop one wasn’t the worst I’ve ever tried, just not completely enjoyable. The smell wasn’t great, but after it was on my face I couldn’t really smell it much. 😉 Being that there was charcoal in it, I wasn’t expecting much, but I thought I’d give it a try anyway. 🤷‍♀️

@Shosh85, ok, I definitely don’t want to be thinking of cleaning while I’m masking😂 I am excited to hear about the GlamGlow mask-I am planning on trying that tonight for the first time. Now I’m really looking forward to it:)
