Great question @CookieGirl1! Nope, not sticky or tacky. It has a slight viscosity to it, but not more than your typical sheet mask. That doesn’t translate as tacky or goopy but rather that the serum is not runny or dripping all over the place.

Life Brand Moisturizing Foot Mask (Shea Butter & Coconut Oil)

I was away recently for a work trip and tacked on an additional day for some R&R. Started that part off with a cup of coffee and this tea tree and peppermint oil scented Life Brand Moisturizing Foot Mask (Shea Butter & Coconut Oil). The scent on the lotion serum is subtle and pleasant, neither overwhelms the other, and there's enough lotion in the masks to evenly coat the entire foot, with extra lotion to spare. The foot mask includes tabs which I find nice to have for securing the masks to each foot and allowing for a better fit. These were fine, although not as strong as tabs on other foot masks; they occasionally popped loose. I left these on for about an half hour (10-20 minutes recommended) and was left with soft, moisturized feet. As with other foot masks, the results with a single use are temporary. I'm so happy I was able to try out these foot masks; I found them to be a nice treat for some down-time and would make a fabulous gift, which is how these found their way to me, for yourself or for someone else. Great for travel or for some TLC at home.

@itsfi  I've wondered about this one -Sounds lovely! Tea tree and peppermint both have a tendency to be strong, so I'm glad to hear the scent wasn't too overpowering! 😃

@Shosh85, tea tree & peppermint scents are usually the ones I try to steer clear of because of how strong they can be. I was happy with how light this scent was. 👍🏼 will see what the results are like with more consistent use of foot masks.

May 8 - 14 ~ Printed Sheet Masks

Holika Holika Baby Pet Magic Sheet Mask

This is a thin-medium, pug-printed, cotton sheet mask. It had plenty of serum and a slightly strong, perfumy kind of scent.

The fit was pretty good - just a little too long at the chin and not quite wide enough by the ears.

I had the mask on for about 25 minutes. I did feel a bit of a tingle while it was on, but it wasn't bothersome at all.

When I removed it my face was just slightly pink in a couple areas, but there wasn't any discomfort at all.

There was some light tackiness, but that went away, along with the pink, in about 10 minutes.

My face felt comfortable and refreshed. My skin felt soft and smooth and had a nice glow.

I don't really have wrinkles, more like fine lines, and I didn't see any difference with that - but I guess that might be the kind of thing you'd notice with consistent usage.

This mask was super fun because of the cute pug print, but I wasn't a big fan of the scent and the results weren't anything special. I'll have no problem using up the box I have, but I probably wouldn't repurchase.

May 15 - 21 ~ Dessert Themed Masks

BioBelle #Cutiepie Exfoliate & Brighten  Sheet Mask

Material:

Thin cotton

Serum:

Clear, thin

Scent:

A light, sweet sort of scent that was hard to pinpoint exactly, but I do think I smelled a hint of maple.

Fit:

A little too long at the chin and a bit too wide

Wear Time:

Half hour

Tack:

Light, stuck around for about 10 minutes

Results:

Soft, smooth, and moisturized skin with a little glow

Repurchase?

The packaging is cute and the results were decent, but for a brightening mask it didn't do much brightening. I'll have no problem using the ones I have left, but won't be repurchasing. There are just better brightening masks out there. I'm also a little annoyed that the star ingredients are at the end of the list and Fragrance is almost in the middle of the list 🤨

The pumpkin one has a cute picture. But to bad not as great results. Packaging and results need to be more consistent 😂

I let out a squeal when I saw the pugs on the packet of the sheet mask @Shosh85 - so cute! Then I went to read your review (awesome as always) and saw your photo with the mask - you make an adorable pug! Sorry about the scent - I find with sheet masks that smell like perfume, less is more ... or even not at all! I much prefer a fruity scent, or even that fresh, clean, signature sheet mask scent. Was the pinkness in areas where you are normally more sensitive or in drier parts of your face?

@itsfi  Yup, the pinkness was mostly on my cheeks - my entire face is always pretty dry, but my cheeks generally seem to be just a smidge drier.

Sephora, salts, and a soak, followed by a subtly-scented, softening & coconut-printed mask to get your soles summer-and-sandal-ready!

I went with a foot soak and mask, as a way to get in a self-care moment and to prep for summer sandal season.

Foot Soak:

There's a slight woodsy/earthiness to the maude Soak - vitamin-rich mineral bath salts No. 1 , with just the teensy bit of something herbal and very faintly sweet. The scent smells stronger in the jar than on the skin or in the water. They dissolves fairly quickly in the water, which was just a smidge warmer than warm. It was a restful and relaxing soak that left my tired feet feeling softened and my state of mind a little more serene. One thing to note is that these are Dead Sea salts and not epsom salts.

Foot Mask:

Then came the coconut-printed SEPHORA COLLECTION Clean Foot Mask 1 Pair Coconut / nourishing and soothing to comfort dry skin. Most of us have used the from Sephora (or another brand). Sock-like booties filled with a lotion-y serum that you slip your foot into and if there's a sticker tab included in the brand you're using (this Sephora Collection one includes a sticker tab), seal your foot in for a comfy, cozier fit. Sit back and relax for the recommended 20 minutes (though more is fine with these masks as they're not exfoliating foot masks) - catch up on some reading, watch TV, masking, journal, have a cup of tea (or something stronger), email, log onto the BIC, etc. I like to pull on a pair of socks to make it easier and safer to walk around in these foot masks - I have hardwood floors so these can be a bit slippery without socks. After removing the mask and massaging the lotion that remains and allowing that to fully absorb, the skin on my foot feels soft and lightly moisturized. A single use won't yield results that last forever, but used regularly, these foot masks do help feet retain moisture and that's a great result for me all year round. These make great gifts year round - for birthdays, care packages and just because, and, of course, fabulous stocking stuffers during the holidays.
