| January | Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings. |
| February | Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC. |
| March | March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please! |
| April | Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights. |
| May | Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O. |
| June | Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair? |

Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐
@WinglessOne I think people do often get CBD, THC and hemp confused with each other. I just finished my FS bottle of the Herbivore Emerald Oil and I loved it, but like you, I want to explore other CBD options. The Flora & Bast sounds pretty great - I might just have to try that one next ๐
This mask sounds more appealing to the longer I read your review, @WinglessOne. I think my skin could tolerate the oils well. Interesting point you make about pinpointing the part of the tree that is used. I canโt recall which mask it was, but I learned that different parts of the plant held different potencies of certain ingredients, and they also had slightly different Latin names on labels.
I am going to try a couple of other masks from this line, too. My watermelon had added fragrance that was more reminiscent of lotion than watermelon ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ But Iโm betting there is a live out there, somewhere. A five-minute mask certainly sounds good in theory!
@WinglessOne Did you have a favorite of the old version or ingredients in one of them you enjoyed?
@ShortErica I don't remember using the old versions of Sephora's sheet masks, though I'm sure I have. Either they're not memorable to me or I'm confusing them with other masks. I do recall using some Sephora eye masks, and I've used some wash-off masks. Hmm... I just looked up some of the old face masks and I think I've used the aloe one before. I wish my old mask spreadsheet was still usable so I could look up my notes... sigh.
My main issue with Sephora's masks in general, though, is that their star ingredients are often at or near the end of ingredient lists. The old aloe sheet mask is a good exception. Do you have a favorite old version?
@WinglessOne I haven't tried any of the old version. I'm hoping if there was a winner from the previous style that it is mostly the same. Too bad about the star ingredients. I have so many aloe masks. I really should try to focus on using one a week this summer. And oh no, I don't know that I should ask about your old notes.
@ShortErica Heh, I was just thinking "I should start rolling through all my aloe masks soon." They're so nice for summer weather. Now I'm trying to remember if anyone got an updated "clean" aloe mask. Hmm... I've seen folks review lychee (one of my favorite tasty fruits!), hemp, matcha, grapefruit, and another one I'm forgetting right now... I need to skim that thread again.
My old mask log was a massive Excel spreadsheet. It got corrupted and now it's a big ol' mess. So I've been rebuilding a new one from scratch. I use Excel so I can filter and sort various data points to my heart's content. Nailing down the new format (something I'll actually fill out for each mask without grumbling) and adding all the mask data is taking forever, but eventually I'll be so glad I redid this. ๐
Oh yeah @WinglessOne. I'm sure the new one will be worth it. Sorry yours was corrupted. I have a "product inventory" spreadsheet and the makes notes are all in just one cell. I'm wondering if having different columns for fit, ingredients, etc. would be better than lumping my thoughts together. Let me know how you end up structuring yours.
I had the pineapple mask which might be the one you're forgetting but there might be another too, coconut? I'm curious how many varieties they'll have.
@ShortErica Ah, coconut! That's the one I forgot, and now I'm pretty sure I've used the old version of it. And yep, also forgot pineapple. Note to self!
I'll tag you when I share my mask spreadsheet. ๐
Nice...
