Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@RGbrown  Ugh, yet another reason I hate shopping via Ulta's app. I started trying to place an order last night and, of course, kept getting timed out at the last checkout step because of course Ulta has queue issues (again). 🙄 I just tried again. On the 4th try, I got this super reassuring error-ish message: 

I mean, at least it's not the usual timeout error.

Had to double check my cart (now empty) and my orders list to make sure the order actually went through. I'm glad I didn't use any of my points on this one, lest I end up having to convince customer service to give 'em back if things glitched up even worse. 

Hope everyone's able to place an app order before the 5x points is over.

The Skincare Mystery may be the Strivectin 3 piece with $30 skincare purchase based on the sequence progression from the Luxe item # 2590115. The skincare is item 2592657 which is not far number wise from the 12/1 gift of last year.

'Twas worth a guess, but it's definitely not that StriVectin set; that was 2592136.

ETA: I don't think it's that other set either, as the product ID's don't match up; since that one in particular was originally a "one listing with two choices" gwp instead of two distinct listings, it's entirely possible Ulta set it up with a new product ID for this go'round, so it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility, but I'm not sure that'll be it.

The spreadsheet tracks all of the sitewide and broad category (skincare, hair, etc) gwps (or, well, most of them, we aren't perfect!), and the skincare one isn't on it...that likely means it was a brand-specific gift at some point in the past, something we don't keep a running list of.

I checked them all a few minutes ago and the skincare one was the only one sold out...I guess the rest weren't tempting enough, so everyone took a chance on the true unknown being better 😂
