Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@Sodayui Yeah, nothing caught my eye for the Cyber Fundays or the BF deals.  I was hoping they might repeat the $25 TF Chocolate Palette, but it wasn't meant to be.  I was also hoping for a deal on MAC x9 palette, Smashbox Cover Shots palette or Tarte palettes.  I guess I'll pick some of that up the next time they have a 20% off prestige sale.

I guess I bought too many things in previous events and upon checking my current "warehouse" I noticed that I already have a HUGE amount of products of each category.........Guess I will go on a low-buy if there won't be anything "wow"~~ Let's wait n see the cyber monday deals...

Ulta usually has an ulta brand gwp on black friday.  On cyber Monday, they usually have a beauty bag.  Last year, it was a 19 piece GWP with a $75 buy in.

IMO, Cyber Monday usually has better deals than Black Friday. Even at non-beauty retailers, I've seen better deals a few days later. It's almost like Black Friday is the "fake out" big sale day. And can someone explain to me why it takes forever for Becca to put their products on sale?

Yep, I got that palette too, but it was a much lower buy in, if I remember correctly. A buy $20 of Ulta crap, get it free. I've actually just started using it and like it very much for work. It's not super pigmented for sure, but it's very wearable for the office and blends okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, but it's a nice freebie. 😊

That’s the same eyeshadow palette from an earlier gwp. I actually like it a lot but one is enough. Most if not all may be repeats. I just recognized the palette immediately since I used it yesterday.

I agree about the GWP being meh. I find Ulta's cosmetics to be lacking for the most part, especially since they sell other brands that are cheaper but better imo.

Yay they have the holiday packaged Body Shop body butter trios on sale again this year for $9 - that's what I usually get my SIL's, and I'm excited for $9 Big Sexy Hair volumizer - that's a $10 savings right there. Thankfully that's about all I'm interested in - these Sephora sales have really hit the wallet hard 😛

I received the 10x on eyeshadow palettes, so I hadn't purchased any of the Mac eyeshadow singles and purchased 2 with my birthday month points, came to 438 points 🙂

That palette multiplier is soooo tempting, but I told myself, no more palettes for a least a year. I need to work with what I already have because I have a lot. I am eyeing that fragrance multiplier though! 👀

@sephoraaddict918 Great rule! I need to do the same with eye palettes until I find tutorials to work with what I have. (All combined cover the spectrum for my pale skin and eye color & I'd just as soon spend on skincare.) It doesn't hurt that so few cool-toned palettes I can actually use are ever released. 😕

Super tempting, been waiting to pick up that UD Elements palette. I'm also wondering if anyone wants to call out what recent palettes were winners and passers... if this is the right spot for it??? The Becca Volcano and Anastasia Norvina were on my maybees list. Also super wishing that new Tarte Pro Remixed palette was out....ooooh my its so pretty.

I’m also wondering about palettes. I have been wanting the Dose of Colors iluvsarahii so will definitely grab that. 

Many thoughts on James Charles by Morphe? When I watched the reviews the instructions were so specific it scared me off. 

Would love to hear eggs drugstore palettes people are going for as well.

I'll second the BH recommendation from @Alicehoopz. I don't have Zodiac in particular, but I have been super impressed with the pigmentation and blendability of their Aurora Lights palette. I have a blush, and it's stunning as well...everything I've tried from them has been top notch.

I also highly highly highly recommend Sleek MakeUP. They have an amazingly creamy and blendable formula with excellent pigmentation.

BH Cosmetics Zodiac is So. Absurdly. Good. Its a very richly pigmented palette - more so than ABH or Colourpop.

Also the tiny Essence palettes? I especially like Fairy Wings & Things - if you need some pastels, this $10 palette has better pastels than seceral high end brands I have tried.

I own the Norvina palette. It has it’s pros and

cons. It’s a beautiful palette. I love purple shades so I automatically loved the palette. However, this could just be me, but I found the shades difficult to work with because I need to put in a bit of extra work to blend out the mattes and the shimmers do have a lot of fall out. Everytime I use it, I ask myself why I even bought this palette in the first place, but the end result is always worth it. I would suggest checking it out in store, if you haven’t already done so, and see if you like it.

Thats a really good point @RGbrown. I'm just tempted to do it on points and get the 9x points back... ends up around $23ish for that UD in points cost if I blow 2K points on Elements, Norvina and another palette all at once. That being said I picked up a lot of palettes already this year so I would probably be alright without them. Ive only got two eyelids after all. lol
