Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

@RGbrown I tried to merge mine, on chat as I used to...but its not one of the options anymore. So I had to ask. And after I put in the numbers, she kept saying shed look into my "order", and then stopped responding. 😒 Has anyone else merged theirs? The chat thing never seems to work for me, unless its a bot...and they dont have that anymore. 😖

Does the eReward work in your cart now? I didn't buy any this time, so I can't offer current experience, but in the past, I always waited until the reward was valid to merge them, so I'm wondering if it not being active yet may have been the problem.

Ahhhhhhh, shoot, my apologies, rereading that now, I was extremely unclear 🤦‍♀️

Merging them will take care of the expiration date, to stop it from expiring (and when the chat bot was an option, I always made sure to move the eReward balance over to the regular GC instead of the other way around...not sure if that was necessary, but it seemed like a logical precaution).

I really don't know if it would allow you to use it early though...not sure if I can recall seeing anyone even mention merging them before the start date or not 🤔 Once upon a time, the rewards worked early, regardless of any advertised start date, but I don't think that's been true for a couple of years now.

The other possibility is that Ulta caught on to the merge loophole and shut it down, maybe that's why chat bot is gone, and reps are supposed to check cards before merging them. Or maybe your chat rep had a technical error...I'd definitely try again to see what sort of response you get before assuming the rep that ghosted you did that on purpose. And even if it doesn't work now, try merging again after they go into effect!

ETA: went to check the Reddit thread on this deal, and a couple other folks mentioned being unable to merge them yet. Hopefully you'll be able to once they are active!! Buying a GC in-store has been a reliable work around as well, so if chat still fails after Xmas, that will hopefully be another option if you don't think you can spend it before they expire.

@RGbrown thanks!! yeah, I should have known!! but just wanted to spend it sooner, lol. Idk why they make it not redeemable until after Xmas, anyway...so annoying.

yeah, the email CS worked better, to merge them. then they sent me a $5 gc after my nail polish came leaked, so I went to merge those with email CS, but it said to use the chat, so, reluctantly, I went there, and the merge thing is back on there!! was much easier this time. 🙂 will also try to merge after Xmas, if I have any left on my other ones, that is 😉

Anyone know if Charlotte Tilbury coming to Ulta? I thought I had seen rumors about it right around the time Fenty launched there but since then, nothing.

That seems to have been an unsubstantiated rumor 😕 The rumors I've heard since then seem to say that CT is under some sort of Sephora-exclusive contract until at least 2023, so maybe after that ends (or not, who knows, it's all rumor and conjecture at this point).

Yup! It's 11:18 a.m. and the website is still down!!

Ulta doesn't realize that this just provides us more time to rethink what may have been an impulse purchase.
