This thread will be for Ulta GWPs only. Share ulta promos here.
Please do NOT post requests for the spreadsheet in this thread. Please post requests for the Ulta GWP google spread sheet in this thread: http://community.sephora.com/t5/Off-Topic/Ulta-GWP-Google-Spreadsheet-Request-Thread/m-p/2753063#M11...
A list of in store coupons is here: https://community.sephora.com/t5/Savvy-Shoppers/Ulta-GWP-Coupons-no-chatter/td-p/3866521
Let's keep this thread on topic!
Ulta points refresher (because yes, it is that complicated):
Item #1 - $53.50
Item #3 - $108.50 (and is eligible for a certain item/brand 5x multiplier)
* There is also a 5x all purchase multiplier and you are platinum so you get 1.25x
Total Spent - $162
Base Points Earned - 162
Platinum .25x Earned - 41 (162 * .25 = 40.5, and rounding up)
5x All Purchases Earned - 648 (it ends up being 4x because you don't count the base points)
5x Item/Brand Earned - 434
Total Points Earned - 1285
Links are not allowed. In lieu of links, please read this:
Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.
Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.
The product id is the number given to the item in the URL. So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number. If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta.
It's not a search, but the direct url to the page.
Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar. It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204 Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.
My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:
(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward. E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward. Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase. Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.
| Multiplier | 1 | 1.25 | 1.5 | 2 | 2.25 | 2.5 | 3 | 3.25 | 3.5 | 4 | 4.25 | 4.5 | 5 | 7.25 | 7.5 | 8 | 8.25 | 8.5 | 9 | 9.25 | 9.5 | 10 | 10.25 | 10.5 |

Another set of mystery gwps
🔹2614969 (Hair Sampler 1 from 7/21/23) https://community.sephora.com/t5/Savvy-Shoppers/Ulta-GWPs/m-p/6607661/highlight/true#M97120
🔹2615670 (6pc Makeup Sampler 2 from 8/8/23) https://community.sephora.com/t5/Savvy-Shoppers/Ulta-GWPs/m-p/6622186/highlight/true#M97250
🔹2616000 (10pc Body Care Sampler from 8/16/23) https://community.sephora.com/t5/Savvy-Shoppers/Ulta-GWPs/m-p/6629458/highlight/true#M97321
Mystery fragrance GWP today, 4 options. Item numbers: 2616496, 2600984, 2613111, 2583288
Notable that this seems limited to “$60 online fragrance gift set purchase.” Not just any $60+ fragrance. There’s not an “add to cart” button, so this adds automatically with qualifying item(s).
@RGbrown could you decipher the mystery for us? ☺️
Unfortunately, none of these are on the spreadsheet, so I'm guessing they were all brand-specific gwps at some point, something we don't track. Unless folks keep their receipts/confirmations and happen to come across one or more by searching their emails for the item numbers, we're in the dark.
Number 1 seems to lead to a thread over on reddit about an Armani gwp from September. Note that it is NOT the 4pc gwp discussed in the post, but rather some other 3pc set someone else linked to and asked about. So we have that one narrowed down a bit, 3pc Armani, but that's about it

FYI, Clinique Almost Lipstick is currently on sale through 12/18 ($15 for full size), if anybody’s a fan? Both color options.
Also, this Drybar Half Shot brush holiday set is currently on sale for $108.50 – which means, $86.80 after 20% off coupon. AND, it comes with a free hair wrap GWP, which adds to cart automatically.
For reference, Half Shot alone is $124 directly from Drybar (sale price). I’m surprised this holiday set is still in stock at Ulta, especially after last week’s 5x multiplier? Must be all the recent Dyson sales… 🤔
@Maria88I'm late to the party, but i have the double shot and the single shot. My hair is pretty long so I use the double shot. I found the single shot is too small, and my hair will get tangled in it. I normally love the double shot but I am salty last week when I was using it my hair got caught in the actual motor of the brush. I had flipped my hair upside down and was using it when the hair got caught. Between the top yellow part of the brush and the grey barrel part, my hair was sucked inside the brush and I had to cut it to get it out. I am not happy about that. Otherwise, it's been an amazing tool.
I would guess the half shot is only going to work on bangs or bobs.
@Maria88 I also have Double Shot, my hair is shoulder length. It does get my hair smooth, but I struggle to get my ends to curl/flip with it (due to its oval shape and bigger size), and a round brush with a dryer is a job. So I’m hopeful that Half Shot will help me out.
@Maria88 Yes and no? I have the Doubleshot, or the bigger version of this and 100% recommend for blowouts. I get smooth, shiny blowouts with volume that last days and it’s very user friendly. Not sure how this smaller version works, however. Maybe best for shorter hair styles?
@gonerogueI don't know the actual size but I'm imagining it's like the mini flat iron, which is to say that it's only going to work on bangs or super short hair.

A couple of new generic qs for the weekend, 10/40 or 20/100, includes prestige and fragrance, online or in store
And the GC deal is back, $20 eReward for every $100 in GC you buy
@RGbrown Do we think there will be a 10% off $75+ gift cards on 12/19 and 12/20, like they did last year? What’s your best educated guess? Wondering if I should wait until then, to have fewer expirable rewards to keep track of… Assuming they did away with the automated gift card merge option for reward cards.
Honestly, I dunno. I think that was the first time they ever offered discount gcs? That same weekend in 2021, they did another round of bonus cards, so goodness only knows what they'll do this year. It kinda feels like they're hurting though, maybe finally feeling the effects of their absolutely garbage IT "upgrades" and scrambling to offer what feels like more coupons than usual...so many generic prestige qs this year! Maybe discount gcs are in our future 🤞
I've skipped all the bonus GC deals lately too...once upon a time, I'd buy $300-500 most every time they had them, but now I'm not sure it's worth my time and effort to spend each reward separately. 😕
