Please add product id numbers and sku numbers so people can find items on ulta.  

Just to clarify, there is an item number that Ulta lists on the website, right under the picture of the item.

The product id is the number given to the item in the URL.  So Ulta's site follows this formula of having the url and then the very last part of the url is "productId=xlsImpprod" followed by an 8 digit number.  If you use that "productId" number you can get to the page of any item on ulta. 

It's not a search, but the direct url to the page. 

Click on any product, and then view the url in the address bar.  It will look like this: ulta's website (not using the actual domain because BT admins don't like that) /prep-prime-fix?productId=xlsImpprod15921204  Replace the 8 digit product id of the item you want to see with the id of the product you're looking for.

My very unofficial Ulta point multiplier to approximate percent discount chart:

(This is a number where I use the multiplier to divide by 2000 to see how many dollars I would have to spend in order to redeem a $125 reward.  E.g. 2000 points divided by 1 point multiplier means I have to spend $2000 to get the $125 reward.  Adding how much I had to spend ($2000) + the reward ($125), and then using the reward ($125) to divide the total purchase ($2125), I get a discount of approximately 6% based on the total purchase.  Note: the total purchase is based on the concept that you are spending just enough to reach the next $125 reward and combines the reward value with how much money you had to spend to get that reward.

Feeling funny about all these gwp’s- Anyone else kinda let down by Ulta this weekend? Not to complain about a gwp (because, hey it’s super nice for them to give us anything!) but between all the multipliers, coupons and gwp I still can’t pull the trigger. The gwps just seem too high of an asking price for what you get in return, and though I’ve got a few items by the brands I’ve got multipliers for I don’t have enough to push me to the threshold. Then I just feel silly spending the points on products I don’t really want, or spending actual money on things I don’t really need right now just to get more crap in single use plastic bottles (that’ll eventually make their way to garbage island 🌏). Usually Ulta knocks it out of the park for me, but so far it’s been pretty uninspired and I missed the one promotion I was truly interested in. Some days you win some and some days you lose some. Either way, Feeling blue!

Don’t be blue @mermaid805 at Ulta there is always another surprise right around every corner. Anyway there are so many good deals everywhere right now I’m really happy for a makeup break and instead excited about getting some cute new sandals for summer on sale and maybe some summer tops or dresses. Right now I’m obsessed with everything in the color blush 🙂

@mermaid805  I know what you mean.  I've gotten used to getting  freebies myself.  I think it's good that you're being discriminate in what you buy, otherwise you will end up wasting money and taking up space for something you don't treasure. 🙂

@mermaid805 yeah, they've been a bit underwhelming lately. I get that every gift won't appeal to every person, but buy-in has been through the roof with the last couple, and repeats are disappointing. Hopefully this is just a small hiccup in the gwp cycle and things will return to normal soon. ☺️

It's not like Ulta to bring the same gwp back over and over, but isn't this the third appearance of this one? Or maybe it's the second showing, but they've repeated something twice also lately? In any case, here's a new old gwp 😋

@RGbrown I'm kinda a dummy when it comes to computer stuff.  I don't believe that I got this in my e-mail, and want to take advantage of it on Tuesday.  Did you get this from Instagram?  How do I manage to activate this?  

(I tried Googling, a quick search of Ulta's Instagram page, searched my e-mail, searched Ulta's website...Am I missing something?)

I don't use IG, so nope. 😛 Pretty much everything I post comes directly from their site.

The multiplier? Sign in and go to your Rewards page, Bonus Offers. If it's there to activate, then do so by clicking "activate", but if it's not there, then you're out of luck, unfortunately. Many offers are targeted, so not everyone gets all of them. Good luck!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for clarifying this, @RGbrown!  I can always count on you.  I e-mailed Ulta and haven't heard back, and as for the number of free samples I asked you about a few days ago - Ulta got back to me but didn't answer my question so I REALLY appreciate that you answered it for me.

I love that you showed me how to go to my Rewards page and look for Bonus Offers, b/c I had no idea about that section.  PLUS, I didn't know some promos were targeted!  Of course I wasn't targeted for this one, but I'll ask and see what happens!

OUCH!!!  Like the other poster said, last year, they creeped up from $125 to $150, but dang, now $175??!!  For mainly repeat samples, it's getting easier to NOT make purchases there.....
