Does anyone else ever wish their nails were permanently a certain color?

Mine would be cream/creamy white. Either that or jet dark, glossy black.

Thank you!!!! Yes.... I feel like square just hits different sometimes @ather !!! But they're getting long so I need to reshape them. I love square nails but it tends to break more when it gets longer vs oval-ish... 🤔 Yesssss. Milky white be like so summer-y to me and black screams winter/fall (Although. Really. I wear it all year around)

Ahhh @jaaayp, this is a beauty for summer - love the crisp white with gold flake accents. Hmmm, if my nails were permanently a certain color? Good question, though I don't know if I can pick just one. But, I can narrow it down to these 3 - 

💅  Deborah Lippmann Iconic Treatment-enriched Nail Polish Naked, a sheer but buildable beige that works really well with my skin tone. I've worn it for more than a decade and have probably gone through at least 10 bottles in that time. A total GOAT 🐐 polish for me.

💅  OPI, Baby Take a Vow, a sheer blush pink that is my go-to base color for a French mani. It also is good on its own for a better than bare nails look.

💅  A good, deep red. My fave, OPI Pretty at the Premiere has been discontinued for years and I'm been on the hunt for a new favorite red. In all fairness though, I probably won't find that new fave, mainly because I enjoy trying out all the reds and don't necessarily want to stop my hunt for the one. 😆

Repurchased 10 times... what in the world. I don't think I've ever repurchased a nail polish!!!

@jaaayp  it is definitely an  @itsfi  ism ! She always has the best products picked out! And knows exactly what she likes! I wish I was more like her! My brain is all over the place. I never know what I like! And when I do it changes so often! Hmm I think I have maybe repurchased one other nail polish. Only once!

Ohhhh, that's really such a kind thing to say @ather; thank you! 🤗 I do think you are giving me far more credit than I deserve though. I am 100% sure that I've come to know what I like because I've spent so many years, soooo many years and hauls, picking and trying things that may have been fine, or good even, sometimes very popular and trendy, but ultimately not well suited for me, for any and all sorts of reasons, from formulation to just personal preference. 

I think it's awesome that you have many ideas for your nail color, shape, etc. Yours always turn out so good! I can very much be a creature of habit (ummmm, hello, my month of pink nail polish on Wednesdays 😅, all for a nostalgic throwback to Mean Girls); being more creative takes me being more mindful to make an effort to do so, which makes me so impressed by the nail looks you and @jaaayp come up with. 😍

Lol @jaaayp, those bottles of DL Naked were before the days of Covid - that nail polish shade was part of my work look for the longest time. Back in the day when Barney’s (the luxe department store not the gourmet burger shop, lol) was around, I’d pick up a bottle of DL Naked during their beauty bag event - one in the spring, one in the fall. I’ve missed that tradition. Then during the lockdown, I started going through and using my other nail polishes, doing nail art - stamping, ombre, etc.

I know what you mean... I think the most product I went through like 10 repurchases is/was MAC studio fix way back when MAC was like everything and I was using like 3 pumps for FULL FULL coverage, all day everyday LOL

Now my face can only handle light/medium coverage and barely 1 pump 😂😂😂

Oh, how times have changed...
