Due to some technical glitches with the original Show Me Your Nails Thread, I am starting a new thread with @vegchililover78's blessing (She says "hello," by the way!).
Please share your nail looks, nail art and manicures!
...And don't forget to check out @Beadshopgirl's Nail Stamping Thread for stamping inspiration! ❤️

@CookieGirl1, I will take the roses, the dahlias and the polish! All very pretty!
Beautiful color, @CookieGirl1 ! I am so jealous of your lovely flowers! 😠🌻🌺
Gorgeous shade, perfect hot pink for this hot hot summer! I'm also jealous of your dahlias in the background 😍
I told y'all that I was allll about the neons right now.
Cirque Colors Electric Daisy at sunset. It actually looks more stunning in full-on sunshine but my phone camera wasn't focusing on it very well, lol.
@Titian06 I'm kinda in love with the color too (and that's a sweet pic 💛).
I love it @CookieGirl1 !!! I Neons are so beautiful and perfect for summer! I have my toes’ nails in neon yellow right now! 💛💛💛
@CookieGirl1, this is exactly what I think of when I think neon - it’s so bright and bold! I can only imagine what it looks like in real life if you’re saying the photo doesn’t do it justice. 😯 It seems perfectly named top - Electric Daisy.
@itsfi It's so much fun to wear (and you're right, I love the name).
Knowing firsthand all the trouble I've had trying to get even halfway accurate photos of neons, I can well imagine how much brighter this one is IRL. Gorgeous! 😎
@RGbrown It's absolutely one of my fav polishes for summer because it's SO bright!
@CookieGirl1 Electric Daisy looks super bright (in the best way) in your photos! 💛
@WinglessOne It's super-neon in person! Honestly, it's the yellow polish that made me fall in love with yellow polish 💛.
Let's fancy up the rainbow, yes? 🌈 I saw a similar mani on Reddit recently and couldn't resist recreating it 💕
The artsy hand. No topcoat over the dots yet as I waited too late last night to start these, and I've got several things I need to do today before I'll have time to sit and let this hand dry again.
The swatch hand
LA Colors Violet Vixen: super dense shimmer, metallic/foil-like, gorgeous color and fantastically easy. This could even be a one coater if you wish, but I always do two for a little more thickness. It's my first one from their Metal line, but absolutely will not be my last 💜
Morgan Taylor Making Waves: bright blue that seemed ultra sheer, almost jellylike on the first coat, but went opaque with the second. Easy two coater.
Ulta Don't @ Me: stunning deep emerald shimmer with just a vague hint of teal hiding down in it that gives it some amazing depth and interest. Easily one of the most gorgeous shades in Ulta's line. Easy two coater.
Essie Break It Sundown: I was determined that everything would be two coats for this mani, but this one could have used a third; I got it mostly even by carefully floating the second coat, but it still looks a touch patchy IRL. This isn't uncommon for a yellow so I harbor no ill will towards it, and the gorgeous shade helps me love it anyways.
Orly Improv: an orangey red base with pink shimmer, giving off a fiery coral vibe. Super sheer and also watery, this was a bit of a pain to work with...the first coat flooded my cuticle, and not just a little...it looked more like I'd dipped my nail in the bottle instead of using a brush 😂 I normally save cleanup until after I'm done, but this one saw me getting up from the table and fixing that first coat before it dried; otherwise I'm not sure any amount of post-mani cleanup would have been enough. Two coats here, though if I'd had more time last night, I would have liked a third as I can tell it's a bit sheer for my taste. Gorgeous color though!
Morgan Taylor Sheek White: in store at Sally, I could tell a slight difference between this and Arctic Freeze, but at home, I'm not sure I can distinguish the two. I can say though, from what I remember of working with AF in the past (it's been a while), Arctic Freeze was much easier to get down in two coats. Sheek White was a bit painfully streaky to work with, and if I hadn't been doing dots on top of it, it definitely would have needed a third coat for smooth and even coverage.
