@ShortErica I tried the Schmidt in stick form. It did work, but I wonder if it was because the scent was so strong it overwhelmed anything else lol - I tried the Jasmine Tea variety.

The next one I want to try is the Myro (I love the package!).

I think I noted the new Skyn Gels in your mask basket @ShortErica. As you branch out, you will likely find something you like better. As far as adherence and brightening, I haven’t found anything that compares. Although yes...it’s all temporary anyway 🙄

If it's one of the top, that's good to know @eshoe. Like the biore nose strips, unless someone convinces me otherwise, I don't need to try any other kinds...though with eye masks I will try others because masks and experimenting are my fun and "me" time. Now if only they could make permanent results with eye gels!

Hi, I’ve got some more empties to share so I don’t bring my trash into June with me! The Algenist is a backup so old I think it’s been discontinued. Which is fine, I wasn’t totally in love with it and I think the Genius White product line needs to be renamed. It was a little more scented than what I now use. Acted more like a toner than a serum. I think the line worked well for me in my thirties,. Another LIKE is the Milk Kush mascara. Idk why mascara has such a learning curve for me. Every formula and wand is different. I took a pic of the wand (after washing for Wands for Wildlife) in case it’s helpful. Idk if it’s the same wand as the full size. Liked the formula: fairly lengthening and volumizing, but with good separation. Would consider purchasing but there’s others I like better. LOVE: DE C Firma. Have already repurchased. It makes me Glow and look much brighter. This has been a game changer. Still working out the days per bottle math. Like the Karuna hand mask, but it’s a little too fragranced for me. Very nourishing. For a day. Then back to abusing my hands. LOVE the Farmacy hydrating Coconut Gel sheet mask. This is my HG of hydrating sheet masks. Low-fragrance and always Moisturizing. Will repurchase. However, the Farmacy hydrating Coconut gel sheet mask with the pic of the broccoli and kale on the front 🥦 🥬 is $3 more and I don’t understand why it is worth the 3 extra dollars. Same great hydration but the mask does not fit as well as the yellow packaged mask. So, this is not a repurchase for me. Maybe I’m missing something?

My May empties! Liked everything, LOVED the Stila glitter, Sephora collection mascara, bath and body works candle and body wash, and the Juicy Couture perfume. Only thing I didn’t really like was the Living Proof hairspray mini, which was just okay- didn’t do too much.

I had a fair amount of travel in March, April & May and my May empties are reflective of that. There’s nothing here that I loathed.

Loves:

Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm 3.4 oz/ 100 mL – I went from having one cleansing balm that I love to at least 3, including this one from Farmacy. It's gentle but effective at removing my sunblock and makeup without leaving my skin tight or dry. The light consistency and refreshing scent (that reminds me of an herbal, citrus sorbet) makes me think this one would be very nice in the warmer months.
method body pure peace body wash also smells very nice - fresh, subtly floral and calming. I’m become quite fond of the method body washes and have picked up a few travel sizes to take with me during my summer travels. So far, this pure peace on is my favorite scent in the line.
AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Cleansing Foam Hydrating Cleanser 4.1 oz/ 120 mL was a surprise hit for me and one of the front runners in my seemingly never ending quest to find my go to second cleanser(s). My knee jerk reaction to the words "cleansing foam" is to recoil, but this one leaves my dehydrated face feeling clean and smooth without any tightness, added dryness, clogged pores or filmy residue. My wallet is not fond of how much my skin has been enjoying the AP products, but it's hard to argue with how well this one works on my skin.
Eminence Organic Skin Care Rosehip Triple C+E Firming Oil is slowly chipping away at the resistance I've been putting up at its price tag. It's gentle, hydrating and firming, and does not leave my skin looking greasy or feeling heavy. I also like that a little of this dry oil goes a long way and that it contains 3 main ingredients that my skin loves - rosehip oil and vitamins C and E.

And about the rest of my empties:

Josh Rosebrook Advanced Hydration Mask is just so extraordinarily luxe. It smells like a spa and makes my dry, dehydrated skin feel loved and pampered. It literally teeters right on the edge of LOVE, but since my skin starts its transformation from dehydrated-dry to dehydrated-combo in the spring and summer, I'm not sure if it's something I'd reach for year-round which is what keeps it from being an absolute love. I may pick up another sample and test it at the height of summer to see how it performs on my skin when it's warm.
Both the KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser and the Glow Recipe Mini Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser 1 oz/ 30 mL are both lovely but I'm just not sure either is my perfect go-to second cleanser. Both also seem best suited for use during specific seasons as far as my skin is concerned (which really isn't a bad thing), with the Korres working better for me in the cooler/colder months and the Glow Recipe more suited to the warmer temperatures. Interestingly, there’s a tendency of both products to leave my skin a little filmy unless I use or rinse off the product a certain way. The particularness of each keeps me from loving these outright.
Meh – AMOREPACIFIC Treatment Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover 6.8 oz/ 200 mL falls squarely into the “it’s not you, it’s me” camp. There’s nothing wrong or off-putting with this product. I just have other cleansing oils that I like more (like the ones from Julep and Tatcha).

@itsfi I’ve thought the same thing about the Korres Cleanser. It might be seasonal. But I will keep using as long as I can Into the summer.

@itsfi Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have been wondering about the Glow recipe cleanser (I love the package lol), but I understand what you mean by filmy cleanser. Some I have tried I feel like I have to splash my face for a long time until I get rid of it. I don't like having a film between my skin and my skincare if that makes any sense lol.
