providing any solution to offering a replacement to the now sold-out sample, the customer service rep (Stephanie) was unapologetic and unconcerned that this may be a bigger issue. Really disappointed in their customer service and will never put my $$ towards Sephora specifically for the samples they promise, because too often lately there's unsatisfactory replacements or, in this case, simply empty boxes.

Eh I don’t know guys...I spent 100 points on the Buxom White Russian reward. I was expected the small DS size that Sephora has given out in promos in the past....but I wasn’t expecting one this tiny... At first I forgot that I had redeemed points for this, and thought I got lucky with a nice free sample.  Its a nice product, though! Perfume sample for scale...

I got this one too. I don't like the tingle, but there was no other way to try this product on my lips since I won't use a tester. The colour is great though!

@Madeline7  Yeah, I recall them offering a Buxom 100 point perk around 2 years ago and it was that size as well. From then on, I haven’t really redeemed for the Buxom ones, since I think they sometimes come in the Sephora favourites sets so I sample them from there. This is still a very popular shade though!

At least you didn't choose the Laura Mercier caviar stick like I did. waste of 100 pts. it's very dry, matte, chalky and the color looks exactly like a fair toned concealer stick. Wish I'd chosen the teeny lippy.

I did choose the Laura Mercer caviar stick a few months ago and I’m really not that impressed with that for me. In the beginning I really loved them and then I bought the full-size and the color and blossom and now I never use them.

There’s a specific KVD 750 point reward set I wanted so bad. I would set my alarm every Tuesday and Thursday to try to get it. Usually they release all the rewards 12pm my time. This time. The ONE time they didn’t do that, I missed out on the reward I really wanted. I don’t like how they do that. I don’t have time to check every 10 minutes to see if the reward I wanted was released. They should just release them all at the same time. I’m spending more of my money at ulta this year. I’m over Sephora.

I received my 750 point von d mirror reward today in the mail from UPS. But guess what it was an empty box with an employees dirty blue lanyard in it. So you r not missing much.

Not OP but the same happened to me and it ahipped from the Aberdeen MD location. I’m guessing a dishonest fulfillment center worker is stealing items. I searched and saw similar experiences with empty boxes arriving with lanyards instead of our orders. This is very disappointing especially since it has happened with items that are in limited quantities.

Omg, @susananna, that's really disappointing... I don't know what's up with the KVD rewards, but they seem the most problem riddled.  Others have posted about missing items, items with the wrong engraving, etc.  

I'm glad they gave you your points back, but obviously you wanted the merchant more than the points.

Yes I did. Just sad. And to get a nasty dirty lanyard from the shipping facility. It’s just frustrating.
