Sephoria NYC 2023

Now that the word is officially out….who will be attending Sephoria NYC 2023 on September 29-30, 2023?

I won’t be able to attend in person this year (I plan to attend virtually) but I know other members who are already planning and going.  If I had to choose a session it would be session 3 with Patrick Ta and Natasha Denona. 

Please share your excitement and even photos and experience here if you do go.

@mona1331  While @SportyGirly125 is absolutely correct with regard to this particular event, if you want to see if there are virtual courses available to you, go to your profile on the store website (this is on the desktop app, not the mobile). Hovering over your profile icon will produce a dropdown menu with an option for Reservations. From there, you can navigate to the Happening at Sephora page. Or you can click on Stores & Services to see what's being offered. In the mobile app, touch the Stores icon at bottom right to explore events.

I don't see any virtual classes taking place at this time, but it's always a possibility for the future. 😊

@Westcoasty @Sunnysmom I think it helped playing computer games when I was younger. I got the hang of it pretty quick. I collected 40 lipsticks in about 45 minutes.

Probably did @SportyGirly125 ! I did fine, my little avatar girl just got a bit dizzy sometimes! 🤪 That’s fun! Yup I found my lippies in good order as well. Had to leave so I stopped at 25! Glad the reward was at 20 too! That was very kind of Sephoria! 😊

I think my girl was probably with yours running into walls @Westcoasty , same here! 😭🤣 Glad you got the treats! It was a fun experience. Will be good to watch more tomorrow too!

@Sunnysmom   Glad to know I'm not the only one! LOL. In fact, part of what confused me was that back in the ooooold days, when dinosaurs ruled the earth and Unix was new and exciting, I used to play games on Unix systems, or edit poems for university in Vi, and the letters used were h-j-k-l for directional input. So the w-a-s-d configuration didn't match whatever muscle memory I had left.

Still, it was fun. And at least in a virtual world, I never actually crashed into another avatar due to my poor "driving"! The event just smoothly zipped me around them.

@heartsmyface, yay, you and the hubs are back home safely! Same, hearts, same! It was so much fun meeting you face-to-face and hanging out (though next time, we're gonna have to do gluten free ramen or just go for the popcorn chicken!)

Oh, the peach and the sandalwood scents are my favorites from that line. I have a vague recollection that the coco beach scent is also a good one. Will have to dig that out from one of the boxes. Not tonight though. Must get to sleep. Miss you already! 

P.S. How was the gluten free bagel?

@itsfi You picked out some amazing items for Sephoria. The bag is so cute for the event. The Touchland sanitizer smells sooo good and is not sticky at all on the hands. Thank you for sharing!! The Lawless balm also came in handy for me (when I remembered it) ☺️.

Oh my goodness, lip balm!!! Completely forgot to grab the Lawless from my carry on before stowing it overhead and my lips are now slightly chapped. Maybe more than just “slightly”. I’m waiting for my luggage and am applying the balm like crazy! 😂
