Store Samples

I have been told different policies in regards to store sample, I just wanted to know of there is an actual Sephora policy or is it different per each store. How many samples can you request from each visit at a store? I have heard that it is max 3 samples per visit or I have heard that it is max 3 per each "world"/section? I am not asking because I want to max out every time I go, but I had a floor manager treat me pretty rudely when he saw that I had more than 3 samples one visit. side note: I am Rouge, I don't just go into the store and pick up free samples. Also, I made a complain to Customer Service when this happened back in June and recieved no follow up, despite emailing back again.
