400 error - bad request

I know that there are lots of other posts out there about this.  But as I have tried to increasingly use the website to help other members of the community I have also increasingly started receiving this error.  It doesn't seem to matter if it's through Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari.  I'm getting it on my phone (although not in the app), my iPad and work and personal laptops.  I've been getting this error for at least the last three weeks, so there should have been a patch window since then to implement a fix.  Please fix this issue so we can continue properly utilizing this website and communicate as a community!

Re: 400 error - bad request

Echoing Christine and all the others:

I have been having this problem too. I clear my cache/cookies, and it doesn't matter--I still get the "Bad Request" message when I try to click on a product I want to buy. Sometimes I get it when I search on a product by name. Sometimes I get it when I try to navigate using menus. It's incredibly frustrating, and no, clearing my cache/cookies doesn't work.

I'm using Google Chrome, by the way, not some rinkydink browser. You realize Google is kind of a big deal? Are you seriously telling customers to change browsers? After spending thousands of dollars with Sephora over the last several years, and I'm trying to spend more, I have to go find a browser that works (which may not even be possible since other customers report the same issue on other browsers)? That's your "solution"?

Or call the phone number? That's doesn't work for me for a variety of reasons--the main one being that I have a speaking disability due to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) making it hard for people to understand me in person, much less on the phone where they can't see my lips and mouth attempting to form the words. It's funny--I shop a lot at Sephora because I'm trying to stay as pretty as I can so people will look past my disease. Now your website is keeping me from purchasing the products that make me feel pretty and give me confidence, and one of your "solutions" isn't available to me because of that same damn disease. (Cue Alanis Morissette...)

But really, I shouldn't need a reason. I'm a Rouge customer and have been for years, and you should want me to keep spending tons of money on gifts, products for my daughter, and products for myself at Sephora. I want to be able shop late at night on the website and not have to try and fail to be understood on the phone. Those really don't seem like unreasonable demands, do they? I'm saying "here--take my money!" and your website keeps saying no?

I can tell you this: the Ulta and Birchbox websites work just fine and have most of the products I use. If this problem persists, I will increasingly shift my purchases to the companies that make me feel welcome. Right now, sadly, that's not Sephora.

Please FIX THIS!!!

Re: 400 error - bad request

good to know its not just me. Every time I click on something it gives me that bad request error. Sephora, fix your website, will you? They replied back to me asking me to change my password, but when I try to click on my profile to do that, "bad request" error doesn't even let me access the password settings. so frustrating!
