Honestly, I wish knew this before buying this much from Sephora. Yes, the sample sized products are insulting and how I can't redeem my points for full sized products or like cash at anytime is very deceptive. I'll also move to Ultra!
They didn't even drop $25 or $50 this time. I've been checking since 8:55 and nothing has appeared
They did drop both $25 and $50 today. After countless weeks of trying to get the $50 one (not even dreaming about $100 anymore) and getting checkout error everyone is talking about, I actually managed to get $50 reward, checked out and got a confirmation e-mail.
Only about a minute or two later, i received an e-mail saying that my order is cancelled. What a joke, Sephora. Great way to loose loyal customers.
I for one am very tired of trying to get this 100 reward. There is no reason this should be a Black Friday style lottery twice a week. If you have the points thatās all it should take. I got one 2 years ago and wasnāt even trying. Everything is a game.
I had one in my cart AGAIN and this time every time I clicked checkout it sent to me to some weird second screen I hadn't seen before and when I clicked the button there it just sent me back to the original checkout screen. I was stuck in that loop for 5 go-rounds before it simply took the reward out of my cart because they were all gone.
I'm getting SO angry. I have had the $100 in my cart a half a dozen separate times in the last 2 months, and I STILL cant get one. This is completely unacceptable.
The EXACT SAME THING happened to me! I apologize for yelling, but I'm pissed! I was in the same loop as you. This is absolutely ridiculous! I was able to get one of the $100 rewards about 6 months ago without a problem. It was not the quick draw process it is now. This is so frustrating and Sephora seems to not give a single f*ck. It's so disheartening when you're loyal to a retailer and they make it so blatantly clear they don't care about you. I'm actively looking for all my products elsewhere.
Had one in my cart again this morning, but as usual I clicked to checkout and it said I had an error and took it away from me. Now they are all gone.
i've been trying to get one for literally MONTHS. I'm thinking of leaving Sephora for Ulta.
I just checked Ulta and they have all the brands I buy from Sephora. I hate to leave thousands of rewards points on the table, but sorry Sephora, I'm gone! Tired of the bait and switch.
Its really sad that will be losing certain perks. A lot of us work really hard and spend a lot of money here and especially with the tier system or can be very frustrating and i truly believe that most of us are make up junkies of one sort of another and we really want to buy good make up not cheap make up so this is the way that we try it and if you take take away these perks for us ;well then yes weāre going to go to other places that offer specials for us the same if not better perks. So if anyBody is listening at Sephora, please listen to your customers weāre not trying to get things for free but make up isnāt cheap either.
The worst part is, once you manage to snag one of the rewards, there are SO many rules surrounding the reward. I thought I'd be able to use the reward in combination with the Holiday Sale.. sounds like a big fat no from everything I've read. Then it turns out you can't return anything you bought using the reward!! Not even for store credit! Such a waste. The ONLY reason I shop at Sephora is for Drunk Elephant and any Skincare that I can't find at ULTA. It's disgusting how bad Sephora's "rewards" system is.
I can't believe how many errors there are still surrounding this reward.
Had it in my cart and tried to check out 3 times and got an error EACH TIME. Then, it was gone.
Jesus Sephoa - why do I bother spending $1000s of dollars with you a year. I can't even redeem my points properly. It's such a dang joke.

Same thing happened to me today. In my cart then poof. Some of your loyal customers work, we cant spend all day waiting trying to redeem something that cant even go out of stock. It's a discount not an item discounts dont go out of stock.
I personally have not seen the 100$ gift card in a while.. i have enough points to redeem but can't... super sad and frustrated...
