Yeah, I don't know if it's part of the reformulation that some of the shades are shifting somewhat or whether it's just the lighting and/or lips of the models, but several of the UD shades that I already own look quite different in these press images.  Bittersweet is way more purple than it looks here.

LOL I wasn't sure about Lovelight either, but I saw the very last box & how the label looked pinky nude. When I swatched the tester, it had this lightly iridescent goldish sheen mixed into the color. I'm terrible at describing things, but it reminded me of Wet n Wild's Metallic Liquid Lip in My Tulips Are Sealed or NARS Orgasm in that goldy sheeny way.

I really like 1993. It's what I wanted MAC's Whirl lipstick to be like!! Great pigmentation and formula and it seems like a satin at first but after awhile dries down to a nice, comfortable matte.

Obsessed

I wore this lipstick with a NYX lipliner (I believe it was Peekaboo Neutral). I didn't think it would look nice on me, but it actually did which was a pleasant surprise. I wore both lipsticks (1993 and Obsessed) for a few hours at a time and was very happy with them!

@jesscheems  That's so funny about 1993. I don't like how it looks on me and I told myself Mac Whirl is sooo much better.

My lips are quite pigmented so Whirl looks a tad on the sheer side. I have a feeling Backtalk might have looked better than MAC's Mehr on me...

My lips are pigmented as well, I like how Whirl looks against my skintone. I haven't seen Backtalk or Mehr, maybe i'll check those out one day.

I wonder if this is the "standard" set that UD is sending to many bloggers -- I can find at least one more grouping of these 10 on instagram. And they're the ones that the promotional materials that phyrra posted say are the "essential ones" (I think).
