Believe it or not...I JUST received the huetopian dream palette and Artistry wand bundle I order direct on Launch day. I only ordered direct because the bundle deal was so good 😞

Anyhoo. Any thoughts on the artistry wand?

@ChristalM  I don't have the artistry wand yet, but it's on my list. I plan to use it mostly atop other shadows. I'm very interested to see firsthand how well it works vs. glitter glue, and whether it's gentler on my skin. 

What are your thoughts on it so far?

@Neyna805 it was just that they redid the pat McGrath website and added some new features like a shade match tool and more detailed explanations on shades in the motherships

How do you like it @Mochapj ? I picked it up with my $100 reward. Turn out it’s not rainbow at all very wearable actually 😘 Can’t wait for mine to arrive

@blackkitty2014 same, I picked mine up with a few GC I had lying around.

I think parts of it are very wearable pinky neutrals. The "special" shades are a lot more over the top than they look in still photos. Particularly those 2 purples on the far right are very rainbow/shifting/hot pink-y pastel in person. 

I like the colours but I find this palette very, very messy, way more than past Pat palettes. Just while swatching it, all of the baked shades, the coppery glitter in the top row and the pinky glitter in the bottom row got all over my clothes. And when I went to apply the two purple shades (with a finger, not a brush) I was cleaning glitter flakes off my forehead, cheeks and chin 😄 But the look it creates, is beautiful, so I won't complain.

I think this is definitely a palette that would benefit from that Artistry Wand mixing medium she released; not sure why they aren't carrying it at Sephora.

Per Pat Mcgrath's IG Live.  If you purchased PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership IX Eyeshadow Palette: Huetopian Dream from Pat Mcgrath direct yesterday and today then you will receive an invitation to an special event.  Mother said to make sure you are signed up for her email notifications.

This seems like a typo because she usually releases palettes on Fridays, but according to this post she’s releasing Huetopian Dream on 8/12..
