Thanks @sarahshter! I'm really loving the shade and super happy that it's similar to Venom2 since that was my favourite shade from Lust004 🙂

I've been stalking MatteTrance Flesh 3 for months since it's been out of stock on Sephora Canada and I don't know if it'll ever come back 😢 it's back in stock on direct and I'm tempted to order but even with the 15% it comes out to over $70 compared to $52 on Sephora.ca. Can you guys please help talk me in or out of this? I adore the color and it is such a beautiful formula but I almost can't justify the difference in prices.

@6ixGirl unless you have a US address to ship it to, I wouldn't bother ordering it direct because of the shipping to Canada cost and since they ship courier, it will get hit with duties.

@Mochapj that makes sense. Thanks as always for your insight. Is it always the case that using courier services will result in customs fees + handling?

@6ixGirl I believe it to be the case whenever a package is coming across the border using a brokerage service.

when receiving something by CP, what packages get submitted to customs is random. with couriers, unless the seller has already charged duties or taxes up front (like ones that use Borderfree) the courier is basically fast-tracking the package through customs, so everything is assessed. plus they will charge you a brokerage fee on top. Unless it’s changed recently, Pat ships to Canada using fedex and I’ve never gotten a shipment from her that wasn’t assessed.

Divine Nude

I picked up Divine Nude from Sephora - I absolutely love it. I'm not a huge fan of liquid lipsticks in general, but this is probably one of my new favourites. It was pretty comfortable to wear without being overly drying. It applied well and I love the shade. This picture is fairly accurate!
