Realistically, how long do you keep the multiple for? It says 12 months on the package, which would make mine expired. I just took a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol and cleaned the casing, then took a clean knife and cut about 1/3rd of an inch off the end of mine. The cream doesn't seem dried out at all and there's so much left I feel weird about throwing it out.

@purly generally I keep using them until I notice a change in either texture or scent (or both)

But I also regularly spritz mine with alcohol so YMMV.

I was considering switching to the method of shaving a bit off the end and then using that bit, which is what I usually do with lip and cream palettes. In theory if I only touch it with clean tools, it ought to last until the texture changes.

@Madeline7 @Mochapj thanks for feedback. i emailed nars and they said it must be defective so back this goes to Sephora. i know when i opened it initially the lid was really hard to get off so maybe it damaged the pump somehow. i have the orgasm and it's really pretty on your skin

I just am trying out my Nars liquid blush and am noticing I'm having it leak on the side of the pump. Anyone else noticing this or is it defective. I also find the consistency is very water like and notice pigment really built up on sides of the bottle and am not sure if I should be shaking it.  Can anyone else who has tried it out let me know if you have found yours to be the same?

@melanito I've seen some people on instagram mentioning their bottle did the same thing.  It could be a leak

@melanito I purchased 2 and they are watery.

They should definitely be shaken before use.

Personally I find the pump gives out more product than I want with a full pump so I cover the opening with a finger while I pump to only pump a little out.

If it's outright coming out the sides of your pump that sounds defective.

From mua Lottie Tomlinson/lotstar on periscope. Swatches of the new Power Matte liquid lips. I didn't write down the shade names but the periscope is still up if you want to check it out. Apparently it will be out July 5 on the Sephora app, July 6 Nars website and boutiques and I think it will be back at Sephora and other retailers July 13.

FYI all - I was in a Nars boutique last week and one of the SAs told me they are discontinuing the Pure Matte lipstick line as of June 2017.  I'm personally really sad to see the Pure Mattes go - they were one of my favorite Nars offerings :((((  I wonder what they'll be replaced with?
