I also miss the way NARS named their Audies in the past.

One of the reasons they were  my first high-end splurge was because how could I pass up a lipstick homage to Natalie Wood or Brigitte Bardot or Vivien Leigh or so on and so on. 

Now, the colours don't speak to me and the last three (Apoline, Stefania and Anita) I've acquired all seem to have a much more slippery formula. le poo

I think maybe you and I might be the only ones around here who remember Mary Hartman Mary Hartman @Loretta55! Actually I have a very distinct memory of my mom watching it downstairs (we had a finished basement) and I was FORBIDDEN to come down! 😜

@jozkid I remember it was on 11:00pm nightly during the week. I can not believe that Mary Hartman Mary Hartman was considered racy back then. I used to watch it with my mom in our kitchen on the portable television. I have many good memories of sitting in that kitchen either watching television or listening to the radio and looking at the view of the New York skyline.

Being this is the NARS thread I wore Warm Leatherette in the Powematte Lip Pigment today for the first time and I am very impressed. The formula feels very comfortable and it did not bleed. It looks like next time I am at Sephora I'm going to have to swatch some of the other colors.

@TKLJ my understanding is Dayle is named for Dayle Haddon, a frequent NARS model and muse. I thought I'd read somewhere that these 6 are all named for 70's models?

If they're named after models, Kirat could be Kirat Bhattal?

Kirat Bhattal, professionally known as Kirat or Keerath in South India, is an Indian film actress. She debuted in modelling roles and then made a breakthrough in the Tamil film industry. She married VJ-actor Gaurav Kapur on 2 November 2014.

Got really excited when I saw the first one and the read the colors and realized I have both meh.

I'm kind of disappointed that they are re-promoting permanent items.  I was hoping their special triangle box set was housing a new shade of blush or at least a special design on the blush compact itself.

The new NARSissit velvet lip glide set swatches. This is one of my favorite lip formulas and I love that they came out with so many new colors!

Is the Powermatte in Just Push Play exclusive to the NARS site or will it have wider release to Sephora or Ulta? I just picked up Starwoman but knowing there's another red out there that might be in my wheelhouse gives me irrational FOMO!

@LCResz my understanding is that Just Push Play and Just What I Needed are the 2 NARS exclusive shades permanently.

Malday has some face swatches of Just Push Play around here - perhaps that will help you decide if it's worth it to take the plunge 😊
