A question for those who have the Callisto DI shadow: do you find it less opaque than other DI shadows? I have tried applying it wet and dry and just can't get the same rich color as I do when I swatch it on my hand. I have several other metallic DIs and don't seem to have a problem with them :S what do you think would be a good substitute for it for a lid color if I'm doing a purple smoky eye? Dione? Maybe the pinned shade in thesaloni?

Hi @Anonymous Callisto is one of my favorites but I find that I need to use my fingers to apply it if I want the most richness (if that's even a word).  I usually put a base with my finger, blend the edges with a brush and then go back and pat more on with my finger and leave it alone.  I find if I use a brush it blends to much away.  I don't have any good dupe suggestions but if I think of anything I will add them!

I visited my friend's new baby yesterday, and while I was holding him, he flailed his head around and smacked into my mouth, smudging a bit of Leslie on his downy newborn head. My friend and I tried to rub it off (she even employed the mom spit trick), but it was stuck on there good. Nars: it's not kiss-proof, but it won't come off a scalp.
