@blackkitty2014 I got it a couple months ago... I'm happy with it but I can see how it was too much work for a lot of people.

I bought Danger Control the week before last and I really like it... it is definitely more understated in real life/on the eyes than swatches suggest. That could be a positive or negative thing, depending on what you're hoping for. There is definitely a learning curve to it that I'm still on.

I've used it a few times and quickly settled on using my fingers for the best payoff... primer is essential but really it needs to stack on top of concealer or cream shadow to look like much. A damp brush would probably also work; a dry brush was *very* subtle. The downside is that for me, at least, it takes more time to create a look with it than I had expected, but I really like wearing the kind of look that was in the demo so I'm sticking with it.

I couldn’t resist a Nars palette for $25, hope it’s worth it. My urban decay glitters are easy to work with. Maybe this will pop on my dark skin?

@blackkitty2014 Yw, if you think of them as pressed pigments rather than eyeshadow that may be more helpful. Needs primer, needs setting spray, creates a very specific kind of futuristic-but-still-office-appropriate vibe.

@fieldsofclover My Sephora order came today of this palette and I’m really trying to remember these words of wisdom! This is such a tricky palette! I know I’ve only had for it a day but just playing around with it for a few looks was difficult. I don’t want to return it yet because I feel like there’s a secret to it that I just need to unlock. I’m grateful to the pointers that have been left here already!

For sure I want the lip palette and the darker lip shades and a blush. I wanted the brown tone eyeshadow palette but now I am wondering if it will be too dark.

- new h/l are up on the nars website. I 'almost' purchased~ i think the nars give / take 20 event should be coming up soon?!! If not maybe i can hold out til the sephora chic week ... maybe ha. I think i read the h/l should be up for sephora and nordies on 4/1
