I went swatching in Sephora today.

Indes Galantes (top) and Quai des Brumes. I wasn't too impressed with how powdery the red-brown in Indes is.

Isadora (top) and Impudique. To the left are the reds from the SM matte lipstick collection. None of them looked special at all and they're all essential the same color. And on top are Rita (red) and Mona (brown-red). I'm interested in Isadora, but I want to see how it will look on my cheeks first.

I came here to find the swatches of Isadora. It looks so unique colour in the best way. Goes straight in my basket.

Hah I thought the same thing when I swatched the lipsticks. I was like well I guess this one is a little warmer or brighter or duller.....then I just gave up and wiped them off.  I really like Isadora and am hoping to get it during the sale, though I'm having trouble imagining what it will look like on me as well.

Ooh you're making me really want Isadora. I've been so blush-obsessed lately and that sounds gorgeous.

Edit: @Mochapj Temptalia only gave this a C+...I'm assuming you don't agree since it was your favorite part of the collection? She said it was patchy. Her swatch also looked not very lavender-y (which is what drew me to this shade), though I always think her swatches are a little warm, in general.

@JenniferOhJenny I was very surprised when I saw her rating, as my experience was that Isadora worked great and the darker one (Impudique) was more problematic.  I haven't found either patchy, but Impudique was harder to apply without looking clownish and didn't blend out as well.

I would definitely suggest checking it in store - there is a lavender shift/twinkle (it's visible in TKLJ photo) but I give Christine benefit of the doubt because shift is so hard to capture in still photos.

Wow, that shade in Indes Galantes looks a lot more brown and a lot less cranberry than other places I've seen it swatched. Would you say the color here is true to life, @Mochapj? Or does it depend on your skintone and lighting? 

Actually, never mind, I looked at some swatches again and yours looks like others'. I've clearly gone crazy, nothing to see here. 🙂

@TKLJ the swatches in the photo are true to how they look on me IRL but my undertones mute the maroon significantly, as well as making the grey more blueish.  looking at just the pans the colors appear qute different.

For Canadian BTers, since the Mind Game Velvet Lip Glide set isn't available online yet, thought I'd mention that I found it in store today (Pacific Centre, Vancouver).  It wasn't on the floor yet, but they checked in the back for me and they had them in stock.

So apparently my store claims to have not received the stock yet. Not sold out but never received...humm I hope that is true!

@ChristalM a couple of stores closer to me also said the same thing that they got testers so surely they should have stock by next week atleast. Where as another store  bit further away said they sold out a week and half ago 😑
