🙂 I wish I had an exciting story to explain my absence but the truth is my partner has been on a work trip for the past week so, like grownups, my cat and I have been lying around the house listlessly, feeling abandoned and unloved. lol

My cat is taking is especially hard. I try to tell him he still has me, but his face just screams "I KNOW! Don't remind me!" LOL

She comes back this weekend. (I have 4 days to revert back to a normal adult lol)

I am sure my dogs think I have died 2 hours after I leave the house.  And when I return two days later, they sometimes wonder

"Why did she come back?  Dad was giving us extra treats too."

IT'S HAPPENING. do we have a release date ? and are those new audacious shades or ... ? and that's a di palette. so much. 23 pieces in all ?!! (i'm caffeinated) 

i read it's not coming out until late november, not sure if true though.

All I've seen so far is that vague November timeline as well, and the 23 pieces bit.  

(23 pieces??? How will I choose???) 😮

ETA: Also, he's about due to add more Audies, since they've already added more DI shadows.

Some of the lipsticks pictured look like they could be existing Audie shades, but then... I don't know why they'd be in the picture.

A lot of the Audacious shades look very alike to me in the bullet, even though they look very different on. Especially the darker ones. This could just be that.

Now, if one of those lippes were the same shade as the blush... like a redder version of Jane... Mmm...

so, after finding my soul mate: NARS duo eyeshadow in 'bellissima'...curious if anyone else has any favorite eye duos ???? brumes and eurydice have had my attention for a long while, just never pulled the plug.

bellissima and habanera have been swatched and been in and out of my basket countless times while walking around different sephoras for a long time now..does that count? i think my issue is i have enough stuff that looks like bellissima and not sure if i'll use habanera as much as i think i will..but those two have been calling to me everytime i walk by the nars shelves at sephora or the nars counters at nordies..le sigh..

sweetxteeth, i thought i didn't need bellissima for the same reason....the dark taupe, though, is just about my new favorite shadow of ever -- i have similar colors but nothing quite like it. it's a brown taupe, or a smokey brown. and i find it gives the most perfect proper 'shadow' effect. i'm sorry to be an enabler, and maybe you really do have something similar in your collection, but i HAVE to shout bellissima from the roof tops !

i know what you mean--it's the perfect taupe-y mix for me in paler skin months..i've been trying to ease up from my usual monochromatic makeup looks and wardrobe but i love them and keep adding to them for a reason. this is also why i've enjoyed participating in the weekly color challenge. you're right, there is nothing quite like bellissima's dark taupe and don't be sorry about the enabler part..thanks, jemly. next step is to try and get away from my "more bang for my buck" mentality when it comes to makeup..ha

I have a few faves.  

Vent glacé is the one I pull out when I want to look like a 'grownup'.  Something about it makes me think of Burberry, which makes me think understated elegance; therefore grownup.

St. Paul de Vence is probably my most used duo.  It's such a flattering soft peach set.

I go back and forth between mediteranee and Isolde for my favourite copper/orange duo, depending on my mood.

i don't have brumes but I do have Eurydice.  The purple in Eurydice is very lovely and vibrant.  The black side tends to be a little patchy.
