Yeah, I don't have a problem returning things, but I ordered it from Nordies US, so it's too much of a hassle for me to return it :S

If it is a "bad batch" thing, can you contact their CS about a replacement? Seems odd if the blogger reviews didn't mention any formula issues.

It's tough to say if it is a bad batch or not.

From what I understand the 'Hot Sand' collection is a Nordies exclusive, and we don't have a Nordies locally yet so I can't go in to see if it's just mine or not.

The one blogger that I read the review from... well, let's just say I don't know if I believe her because it was a sponsored review for Nordies, so... 😮

Nordies CS was helpful and sent me a return form and reshipped a new one.

The replacement is supposed to be here today - fingers crossed that it's better quality than the last one 😮

Yes, the powder is gorgeous.  (PS, I swatched it next to Opal below)

You can even see how it balls up in the photo above.  So gross.

Here are some swatches of hot sand.  Top to bottom is the blush/bronze duo and then multiple.

The texture of the laguna in this duo is a bit sheerer and more powdery.  I could barely get it to show up on me, which isn't usually the case.  Doesn't really matter to me since I'll never use the bronzer, but just to note.  

The multiple is gorgeous.  It is a peachier version of the St Lucia one they came out with last year (which was more pink) and I can't wait to use it tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing swatches! How orangey would you say that it leans? It looks really nice on you, but you are a bit deeper in tone than I am....

It's not orange-y at all.  It's hard to pick up with my camera (doubly so once BT compresses the file) but I do have all 3 items swatched in those photos.

The most visible bit in the middle is the Laguna.  On either side is the powder and multiple of hot sand.

I would say it is similar to BECCA Opal, but not as in your face, and slightly more peach.  When I have better lighting in the morning I can try comparing them.

Goulue - one of my favorite blush colors I never use because I didn't want to run out.  I will buy a FS when they come to Canada.

Beautiful!  After seeing it on you I know I'll love it too.  The dilemma now is whether to buy it full size or wait to see if/when I requalify for Rouge.
