Our boutique is supposedly getting collection and gift sets this week @TraceyEB . These colors are wild aren’t they. I’d love the eye quad and a highlighter/blush but I can resist the eye biggies thankfully! They’ll definitely be so fun for folks who want to dip into some bright looks!

Thank goodness we can resist them @TraceyEB ! So many beautiful holiday launches coming at us and still only the one face and one ever decreasing wallet! 😂😭  I have been watching so many videos to get a good feel for what’s coming too. It’s also so soothing! I’ll try to take some photos if I can. The store seems to be right in the sun and it’s so tricky to see products half the time! Lol Seems crazy! Maybe also good. 🥹

For me, I don't use the Chanel makeup just because I'm accustomed to other brands.

I love their fragrances though!!!

@MeMiV, they do make some great fragrances. What's your favorite Chanel fragrance? Or, with fall around the corner, do you have a fall go-to from the brand?

I've only tried them as samples when I order.  I believe I tried the Coco fragrance and really enjoyed it.

FYI. Has anyone tried Chanel's loose powder?

They are light as a feather @TraceyEB , lovely. I did just see the new travel size and it’s still quite generous and refillable, tho not a big bargain. Lol. Is anything anymore?! 😭 The shade Rosy Light looked especially ethereal!

I currently use and like the loose powder.  It has a light scent and it is easy to use without looking overdone.  My only complaint is about the full size packaging.  Like other brands have updated packaging to keep the powder from getting messy if you want to travel.  I was in the Chanel beauty boutique recently and saw these travel powders but they are one third of the size but cost more! $58 (full size) vs $65 travel.  So you’re definitely paying for the packaging.  I passed on this even though I really wanted a travel case.  I’ll stick with transferring powder to a travel jar for now.  
The pressed powder is okay but I find it gets hard and eventually starts crumbling in a circular pattern from the center.  This is a known “feature” of the pressed compact.

@Sunnysmom  I transfer the powder very carefully!!  I shake up a small amount into the top then carefully tip it to the side so the powder collects in one small area.  Then I pour into my travel jar, which has a wide mouth so it’s easy to not make a mess!  

perhaps when I am finished with my current jar I’ll look into the travel ones.

That’s a smart idea to transfer some powder to a travel jar @misst . How do you do it so it doesn’t make a mess?! I’m afraid I would be a disaster at it! 🤣

More Holiday releases: At the end of her video, Michelle revealed that Chanel is releasing three 9-pan palettes in their Holiday collection. The layout will be circular pans like Chanel quads (vs rectangles) and the shades are gems and jewel tones. Wallets are on notice!!
