Has any member tried these pencils? Are the waxy or powdery? Do they make hair-like lines on oily eyebrows?
Building on @Mochapj's swatches post below, here are the product names and numbers. Included in the July 19 release are fine tipped brow pencils. (I use Chanel's liquid eyebrow wand and gel eyebrow pencil as they have shades that compliment red hair. Looking forward to a fine tip eyebrow pencil.)
Thanks @TraceyEB . The blushes look a lot more appealing to me in these pics. I want the fuchsia one although it does not look fuchsia, or as pigmented as I would have thouight from the pan picture, in the swatch. I want it to be the new Chanel Turbulent JC. I'm interested in the brow pencils too. Always in search of the perfect color for my mousey hair.
@Mochapj, I wonder what the No 1 product is. I'm underwhelmed that this is the summer collection. While I applaud the colour creativity, I wish there was more to it.
I hear there are some new lips and nails also coming @TraceyEB @Mochapj @CookieGirl1 @Winthrop44 @blackkitty2014 @curlychiquita . In the next week or 2 I guess. 🤷🏻♀️This does seem rather smallish!
Thanks for the tag, @Sunnysmom! I don’t think I’ll get anything from this collection but I do need to get more of my Chanel foundation soon.
Figured you had seen it @curlychiquita but just in case! 😊 Which formula is your favorite? I keep wishing the tinted moisturizer would make an appearance again in some fashion. Didn’t they redo it or maybe it just went away.
Thx you @Mochapj @Sunnysmom . Not sure about the blush duos. And what’s up with Chanel keeps releasing new thing every month. Ugh PS I might try out the eye sticks or pencils or whatever they called 😂🤣 The colors do look fun
@blackkitty2014 - Steady income? Gotta keep the lights on! 🤣
Hahaha. They think I’m their cow @Titian06 Sorry Chanel not working (well partial working) 😂🤣
@Sunnysmom - Nothing's caught my fancy. I am looking forward to swatches...you never know. 😁
@TraceyEB I like the eye sticks but I agree there doesn’t really seem like much of a unifying theme beyond ‘easy summer products’ by using lots of stick applications 🤷🏽♀️
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Primer in Frosty White is available at Macy's. I find it similar in effect to the La Base Illuminatrice Glowing Primer in the regular line.
My initial picks from Chanel's new releases: Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sun-Kissed Powders in Deep Mauve and Medium Rose Gold, Ombre Essentielle shadows in Jade Facetté and Rose Charnel, and Noir Allure mascara in Orange Bruni.
I am loving the Les Beiges Deep Mauve palette. The pigmentation level is extreme, so I apply the bronzer and highlighter shades together using a fluffy brush and a very light hand to reproduce the sunburnt colouring my skin gets in the summer. I can get away with adding the blush shade very lightly high on the cheekbones (see below). I could use the bronzer to add a slight cheek contour but very carefully and high on the cheekbone as the shade alone can look dirty against my light complexion. I like the Medium Rose Gold palette, too, though the effect is more subtle, giving hints of colour on the face. Swirling all the shades together gives too much of a golden tone on me, so I apply the shades individually. Both palettes will get lots of love from me! Now to play with the eyeshadows. They were soft in appearance when swatching and Rose Charnel needed to be built up to capture the shade. The new mascara shade Orange Bruni is giving me Fall vibes. I plan to wear it on the lash tips over brown mascara.
