What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

Re: What's on your plate?

Wow that looks both beautiful and delicious! That is so cool that your making something like that homemade, it’s a lot of work but worth the reward so tasty! @CynthieLu

Re: What's on your plate?

That's how I feel about it @peculiarzmakeup it's definitely worth the work. It feels so good to eat something I've made myself. And slowly improving feels rewarding too. I'm a novice bread maker and it's been a fun thou slowish learning process. 😅

Re: What's on your plate?

You’re doing amazing. Keep it up in your fabulous efforts it looks so delicious and definatley a rewarding process I love homemade. Do you like putting anything on it? @CynthieLu

Re: What's on your plate?

I love fresh bread on the side of dinner or with soup @peculiarzmakeup but it has so many good uses. Is there a favorite way you like this enjoy fresh bread?

Re: What's on your plate?

I would say as a side too but sometimes with cream cheese 🙂 @CynthieLu

Re: What's on your plate?

That looks like fun time @CynthieLu .  Who cares what they look like, the taste is what counts.

Re: What's on your plate?

Thank you and you are right @CorgiMommy, the taste really is the important item here. A long as I have that down everything else is just a minor detail. 🍞💕

Re: What's on your plate?

Oh my gosh, @CynthieLu, that loaf looks AMAZEBALLS.  I bet it tastes absolutely delicious, too.

Re: What's on your plate?

The loaf turned out so well, thank you! @CookieGirl1 We cut into it for supper and I'm happy to say it was tasty!

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu  It looks like it could float away any minute!  Beautiful (and, I'm sure, yummy.)

Re: What's on your plate?

Thank youuu! 💕 There's nothing like fresh bread. @Ispend2much6 I can't believe it turned out as good as it did. I just need to figure out the whole muffin thing next. 😉🍞

Re: What's on your plate?

Lunch at our local bistro that makes most things homemade (including potato chips) and has the prettiest Christmas tree and a whole section of Christmas paraphernalia  for sale.

Re: What's on your plate?

@Ispend2much6 What a perfect winter lunch! Everything looks delicious. I love when i get a pickle with my sandwich. My husband doesn't like pickles, so I usually get two 😆

Re: What's on your plate?

@Mellmars1185   Yay for pickles!  My husband usually gets half of my meal.  This time only some of my pasta salad.

Re: What's on your plate?

@Ispend2much6  I love little places like that! Homemade is seriously the best! Yum! 😋

Re: What's on your plate?

@Shosh85   I agree!  They are hard to find too.  Most restaurants use pre-made and/or frozen items.  This restaurant has a sandwich spread that they serve that is soo good.  I've tried to find out what it is; it seems like one of those British Pomme sauces or something.

Re: What's on your plate?

This looks delicious! @Ispend2much6

Re: What's on your plate?

Yum!  @Ispend2much6

Re: What's on your plate?

That's impressive that they make their own chips, @Ispend2much6, but so cool!

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1   They are good.  Honestly, and I'm grateful for this, every time I try store-bought chips, they taste like rancid oil to me.  Now I have to forget they sell these in bags to go. 🙂

Re: What's on your plate?

@Ispend2much6 to go bags, even?  That could be dangerous 😅.
