I would love a treats exchange! Maybe we could do this seasonally? Just because this sounds awesome and I want to do this soon! I did something similar through Reddit Gifts, and it was so much fun.

Y'all need Julio's tortilla chips. And peach salsa. And spicy Mexican watermelon candy.

@Mcakes  yeah that would be fun! Do they sell in the fall too?  The GS here have spring and fall cookie sales.

@veronika23 I read that it depends on the troop:

"A council conducts only one cookie sale per year. Most of these activities take place between January and April, but some occur as early as September." -From the Girl Scouts FAQ section

So we can do one is September and take a gamble or ...wait all the way until January... 😞

Girl Scout mom here - Our council does a nut and chocolate sale in the fall  (they have amazing chocolate mints - yum!) and we start selling cookies in January.  

Unfortunately, my daughter is kind of over it - there are only 3 girls left in her troop (they started in Kindergarten!), but it is not as cool to do as a teenager.....  They have been doing some community projects and have good scholarship opportunities, but sports and socializing have been taking a higher priority, so I don't think they'll make it to next year, so I will probably lose my hookup. 😞
