A place to say thank you, provide reviews and first impressions, or follow up on gratis received after more use!

Many of us have been very lucky to receive gratis (thanks Sephora!), and I’ve been finding that while it’s easy to initially post about receiving it and initial reviews, it’s not as easy to follow up! 

I thought maybe we could have a dedicated thread to follow-ups and reviews with products we’ve received after we’ve been using them for a while, especially because it’s sometimes hard to find the original thank you and first impressions threads.

Feeling very special this week. 2 gratis packages for me! My v day gift came a bit late because it was sent to my old address. I'm really excited about the jelly glosses. Thanks @TeamBIC

I tried the Glow Recipe lip pop. I was really not impressed the 1st time this morning. It went on rough and didn't feel moisturizing. I tried it again later and it was much smoother. A little grit was there but smoothed out after a bit. This has a really lovely shimmer and smells great. It didn't keep my lips moisturized all day, but the shimmer and yummy watermelon scent won me over. It wasn't super gritty, but I didn't love that.

I am pretty terrified of the facial oil after The Ordinary squalane oil broke me out really badly. I'll try to work up the courage to try it.

@GeorginaBT , did you notice that your hair dried quicker after using AMIKA - Flash Instant Shine Hair Mask? I took your advice and tried the DRYBAR - Jump Start Quick Dry Blowout Serum but unfortunately it did not work as well as the Amika-Flash.

@Loretta55 Hmm, the Amika hasn't helped my hair dry *quicker*, but my hair has been looking shinier after drying! Have you been blow drying your hair with the Jump Start? It's definitely cut down dry time for me, but I really love it because it functions as my heat protector for flat ironing once my hair is completely dry.

I try not to blow dry my hair @GeorginaBT. I prefer to use the lowest heat setting possible. When air drying my hair DRYBAR - Jump Start Quick Dry Blowout Serum made no difference.

@Loretta55 Ahhhh, good to know! Good on you for taking the air dry route whenever possible - need to start making that choice myself. 😉

Thanks @tsavorite I'm still around! I'm a little busier at work so I can't be on BIC much during weekdays, but I try to catch up nights and weekends. I love this community. It makes me so happy.

YAY @sprocketta Congrats on the two great Gratis. I've heard great things about the Lilah B oil. Maybe patch test first! Those Sephora lip jellies look great too and fab colors! Enjoy ❣
