I realized we don't have an OOTD, outfit of the day thread, which isn't needed but can still be a lot of fun.  It's dress up for me, but make it adult.

This was part spurred by my natural hair journey, Tress Trek - A Transition Journal from Relaxer to Natural and NYFW and Zendaya.  99% Zendaya.

The Fit- this can be your attire, or what has arisen from the Capsule Challenge, your makeup bag.  Hair and fragrance "fits" count, too


The Fab - What you loved enough to be inspired by or loved the most about your look

The Fit: Window Pane sweater and Silk pants, I think both from Banana Republic.  The hot pink jacket is a goodie from Gap a few years ago.  The shoes are also a longtime goody, from Old Navy.  Gap brands make up 90% of my wardrobe 🤣

I'm also having my giant sunglasses glory moment here.

The Fab: It's fall (sometimes ) and this week's Capsule Makeup Collection Challenge is sweater weather themed, so I learned into it, plus I love the windowpane style and plumminess of the sweater.

 

The face:  This is also Hottie Toddies Week in Cheek Challenge Fall 2024: Fall Flushing Forward , so I went with berries, browns, gold and copper.  Give me all the warmth, all the moody lips.  I love mixing DIOR Rouge Dior Refillable Lipstick 500 Nude Soul with deep shades because it has this hint of warmth to it that just works.  Here it's mixed with Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Fenty Icon The Fill Semi-Matte Refillable Lipstick Board Memb'r

The Fit: I treated myself to a nice, new puffer coat and got the pink jumpsuit on sale from RTR.

The Fab: Hubbs said I looked like pink lemonade 🍋. I'll take it.  But the inspo was really the 7 virtues tie.  Full floral in fall.

The Face: this was a Day To Evening Makeup 💄✨️ success!  I added SEPHORA COLLECTION Vegan False Eyelashes in irresistible and did my complexion touch up like I described in that thread.  In the day, I wore Prada Beauty Monochrome Hyper Matte Refillable Lipstick P55 FUXIA .  I touched up the erm, leftovers, with liner and gloss

The Fit: This was a combo I picked when banana Republic had their own clothing rental service and it just worked.  I love love love volume of these culottes and the earth tones.  And yes, the shirt and culottes have pockets!!!  I purchased it for keeps immediately .  It's like my fav fall outfit.  I usually pair it with my brown wedge boots and an olive blazer I have, but I wore one of my favorite leather coats

The face: this is day 2 with NATASHA DENONA Roxa Eyeshadow Palette , and that dark purple calls for a smoky eye.    Also, I paired Fenty's Stunna undefeated with Dior's Sequin in stars.  🤌🏽🤌🏽. All my emo, grungy dreams came true

Also. I got a blow out and been maintaining it well.

The Fit: Yup, it's the same top, it's actually a jumpsuit.  I used the 7 virtue ties as accessories and wore my floral flats.

The Fab: The jumpsuit.  It's got pockets and it's just such an easy, cute look.  The ties made it....FULL ON DEMURE, VERY CUTESY.  I'll stop saying that now.

The Face: This was day 1 with Roxa.  And bringing back the lip combo from day to night, Ami Colé Soft Shape Waterproof Lip Liner Rose Clay and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Swirl Twisted Lip Luminizer Fu$$y Flex
